I wake up in the morning nervous about today, the dance is in 3 days and I have a doctor's appointment today. I have to tell Jake eventually I just know it. I get out of bed and dressed for school ready to face another day of hell.

I decide since I'm hungry again pregnancy fun, I'll get some food before my appointment. I decide on McDonald's it's the closest thing. I pull up to the drive through.
"Welcome to McDonald's what can I get you?"

"Total is 10.49 pay at first window."
"Thank you."
I pull up to the first window and pull my credit card out, that my parents pay for until they find out I'm pregnant. If my dad even gets the chance to find out.
I hear the drive through window open and I turn around and come face to face with Miles, Lizzie's boyfriend. Which is weird because I just saw him at lunch. I look at him confused.
"Miles?? You work here?"
His eyes get wide "Oh, hey Melinda. Yeah, I work here. Just got the job a week ago, didn't Lizzie tell you?"
I shake my head "No, she didn't, but I don't expect her to tell me aspects of her boyfriends life."
He shrugs "Yeah, I guess so. So why aren't you at school?"
"I have a doctor's appointment."
He nods accepting my answer "Okay, cool."
He takes my card and runs it through, hands me back my card and comes back again with my food.
"Here's your food."
"Thanks."
"No problem, see ya later." He says with a little wave. I smile and pull away.
