The king looks at her as if he wants to kill her in the most inhumane way possible.
She takes several steps to the side and the king watches her movement with a look of resentment in his eyes.
Tiana feels like she's about to die due to how hard her heart is ramming against her chest. She feels like her chest is caving in and her lungs are being filled with water.
"GET OUUUTTTTTTT!!!" He screams.
King Yoongi screamed at Tiana so hard that he clenched his fists at his side and closed his eyes.
Tiana bolts away from him and heads straight to the door. She pulls at the handles with so much power, but the doors don't open. She feels like crying because she wants to get away from him so badly like she's trying to get away from a Demogorgon.
Tiana pounds on the door with all her might.
"LET ME OUT!!" She yells. "Please!!!"
She quickly looks at the king who is standing where she left him. He looks in the direction of the garments.
Tiana's pounding gets faster and louder.
"HELP ME!!!!" She screams.
Tiana hears a thud over her shoulder and she turns around quickly, making her back hit the door. Her eyes look for the king, afraid that the thud was him getting ready to kill her. She knows that she told him to kill her so she can escape him, but she realizes she's not ready to leave. She can't give up yet. There has to be a way for her to get back to where she belongs without her needing to die.
Tiana spots Yoongi on his knees in front of the garment. His head is bent down toward the ground and his body quivers.
Tiana begins to kick at the door screaming, thinking that the king is cynically laughing at her being terrified of him at the moment.
She stops when she hears whimpering.
A loud sob escapes the king.
Tiana hears in her head that she should comfort him and she thinks that's a crazy idea, but she finds herself walking toward Yoongi.
She stands next to his crouched body that quivers aggressively. His sobbing makes her heart ache. She gets down to his level and speaks.
"Your Highness?" She says in a soft voice.
Yoongi shakes his head.
"Didn't I tell you to go?" He responds.
His voice comes out forced.
Tiana looks at the bloody garment on the ground before returning her gaze back to the broken man.
She places her hand on his back.
"It's okay," she says in a soft voice.
The king springs his torso up, removing his head from the ground.
Tiana's eyes widen at the whites of the king's eyes being replaced with red eyes and his pale face stained with tears.
"It's not!" He yells.
Tiana presses her lips in a thin and darts her eyes left to right a couple of times.
The king bites his lips.
"It was never ok-" he starts but a sob escapes his mouth.
Tiana inches closer to him and hugs Yoongi tightly.
To her surprise, he doesn't push her away or threaten her. Instead, he falls limp into her arms, resting his chin on her left shoulder, and continues to sob. She rubs his back with her left hand while praying for him in a whispered voice. She prays that whatever pain he is going through, whatever turmoil he is encountering in his life, is removed and replaced with peace and contentment.
