Tiana's legs give out and she falls to the ground.
"I time traveled," she mumbles.
"I can't understa--"
"I FREAKING TIME TRAVELED!!!" She groans while throwing her arms up in the air before covering her face. "GOD WWHHYYYY???!!"
Tiana starts to cry. Not that soft crying, the ugly crying where you're hiccupping and making loud noises.
The man hesitates before rubbing Tiana's back, trying to soothe her crying.
"If it makes you feel better, you can stay with me and we can figure out how to get you back home," the man says.
"I don't think you can make a time machine," Tiana says.
"Can you please speak Korean? I can't understand your native tongue," he says.
"Korea is my home for the next two years," she responds in Korean. "But..."
Tiana chokes out and thinks of her family and Namjoon. What if they think I'm dead because I didn't call them? They must be so worried.
The man turns around and crouches in front of her. Tiana looks at him confused while wiping her tears.
"Get on. You look like you can't walk well," he says.
His soft deep voice startles her since the sound of his voice seems to surround her and echo in the forest.
"There's no point. Just leave me here to die," she mumbles.
"I don't think you want to see a wild boar," he responds.
The man tilts his head to the side while giving her a gummy smile.
"Well shiii, ain't gotta tell me twice," she says before carefully getting on his back.
The stranger grabs her thighs tightly before standing up. His touch makes Tiana feel tingly on the inside and feels sparks flying up her thighs.
"Since I'll be staying with you for a while, shouldn't I get a name?" She asks.
The man grunts as he walks up the hill they rolled down before speaking up.
"Agust D," he says.
The vibrations from his voice rumble against Tiana's chest.
A soft chuckle escapes from her.
"Sounds like a rapper to me," she says. "Are you sure you're from the Joseon Dynasty?"
"What's a rapper?" Agust D asks. "And as far as I can remember, I was born 27 years ago."
"I'll give you an example because I don't know how to describe it where you'll understand," she says before reciting a verse from Tupac's "All Eyez on Me."
Agust D chuckles.
"I like that," he says.
"What does Agust D mean anyway? I'm curious because it doesn't sound like a Korean name," she says.
"Well the D and t are the initials of my birth town and Agus is Suga spelled backward," he responds.
"Suga? Who's Suga?" Tiana asks out of curiosity.
"It's my birth name," Agust D says.
"Why?" Tiana asks.
Agust D tenses underneath Tiana.
