The king's eyes darken at Agust.

So this is what his brother was planning?

The time he doesn't have his sword with him is the time his hands itch so bad for it so he can end his life right there and then. How dare he demand he releases Tiana from his grasp. He's the king! He can do what he wants when he wants and he always gets what he wants.

The king still doesn't know why he took Tiana from Agust's place, but there was something about her he was curious about when he first laid eyes on her. Could it be that she looked different from everyone else? Maybe.

The king closes his eyes.

AD is smart and calculating. No matter what he says, AD will find a way to release Tiana from the palace. However, no matter how intelligent he may be, there's always a way to use his intelligence in a way that will benefit the king more than AD.

The king's eyes open. A sly smirk climbs up his face.

"I will accept that condition only if you accept mine," the king says.

AD tilts his head to the side and smiles at his brother.

"I will allow it only if you make me two more inventions," the king says.

AD's ears perk at the request his brother is about to make. He knows it is about to be something mad complicated.

"A weapon, that can pierce a person that is faster than an arrow and difficult to see," the king says.

The smirk on his face grows when he sees confusion sweep over AD's face.

"Also, something that can move me places and that doesn't need an animal or human to pull it," The king finishes.

AD clenches his jaw and narrows his eyes at his brother. The things he requested sound almost impossible to make, but he will never back down from a challenge, especially one coming from his brother.

Agust removes the hot pad from behind his back and places it in the king's hand. He presses the pad into his brother's palm.

"Deal," Agust says while making hard eye contact with the king.

The king smiles at his brother like he is about to let out a laugh.

AD makes his way past the king to return to the bed-chamber, but the king commands him to stop.

Agust resists the urge to ball his fist up. He doesn't want to reveal to his brother that his frustration is bottling up and close to exploding.

He looks over his shoulder at his brother in a lazy manner.

"Where are you going?" The king asks.

The smile on his face becomes sinister.

"To Tiana?" The king questions.

His voice is filled with amusement.

"I don't think so. If you want her released soon, you better hurry up and make my inventions," the king continues.

Agust stares down at his brother.

"I need to gather my supplies. I left it in your bed-chamber," AD responds.

"That's alright," the king responds. "One of my men will get it for you."

A sigh escapes Agust's mouth. He places his hands in his pockets and leans against the wall with the bottom of his foot propped up on the wall behind him.

"Good," the king says before cackling.

Agust watches as his brother walks down the corridor, heading away from him while laughing like a mad man. His cackles sound as if they are coming from every corner of the palace, haunting those who hear them.
