Tiana's back presses against the wall as someone hovers over her. From the shadow, she can see in the darkness that whoever has her against the wall isn't much taller than her.

"I don't mean to surprise you like this, but I need your help," the person says.

Tiana stares ahead of her, trying to get her eyes to adjust to the darkness so she can make out the person's face. Their voice sounds familiar and slightly calms her nerves down.

As her eyes adjust, she makes out the silhouette of a cone-shaped hat.

"Agust?" She asks in a quiet voice.

He hums in response.

Although it's dark, she can feel him smirking in response to her correctly guessing who he is.

"What are you doing here??" Tiana asks in a panicked voice. "You shouldn't be here."

Agust tilts his head to the side.

"Why?" He questions.

A sigh escapes Tiana.

"He'll hurt you...like he did last time," she replies.

She wishes it wasn't so dark wherever Agust D dragged her into so she can see his face and he can see hers. She wants him to see the concerned look in his eyes and that she genuinely cares about what happens to him. Since the day they first met, she has felt a connection to him.

"It's nothing I can't take," Agust says. "And it's worth the risk if I get to see you."

It feels like a pit of fire is started in Tiana's stomach as a small smile appears on her face.

Agust gets closer to Tiana and leans down to whisper in her ear.

"I'm going to get you out of here, not right now, but soon," AD says. "Before that time comes, I need some help."

Tiana's ears perk at the last thing Agust said and she becomes attentive so she can figure out how she can be of help to her escape from Hell.

AD tells her about the bargain the king made with him about releasing her from the palace. AD lets her know the ideas he has come up with so far and asks her which one she likes the most.

"Do you know what a car is?" Tiana asks.

Agust D makes a face at her and repeats the word.

Tiana smiles before explaining to him what a car is: "It fits the description the king gave you. It moves on its own with the help of the driver controlling the direction of the car."

Agust continues to look at her like he's lost.

"Do you have paper and ink?" She asks him.

Agust hums in response before reaching into his sack and grabbing those supplies out of his sack. He rests them on her shoulder until she grabs them.

"Am I supposed to draw what I am thinking of in the dark?" Tiana asks.

She raises an eyebrow at him and gives him a side smile despite him not being able to see her.

Agust holds his chin while grinning.

"Good point," he says. "Let's find somewhere with some light."

He pushes himself off of the wall and heads over to the shack's exit.

Tiana feels cold after AD stopped hovering over her. She would never admit it, but she wants to feel his warmth again.

He opens the door a crack. The light from outside shines on his face, exposing the scar on the left side of his face against his smooth pale skin.

AD smiles at her.
