"Don't Look Down" Remix video and single dropped and it was his highest charted song. The fans were going crazy over Tone and Riyah in a song together, but the big question was, who was the new kid?
Most of the female attention was on CJ because he was a new face, and available. They knew they could not get with Tone, he was engaged and happily in love.
That did not stop the girls from sliding into his DMs.
It was a good thing Riyah trusted him. He let her know the passcode to his phone and she could check it any time. She was more worried about the pregnancy and being sick so often. She was so worried they went to her doctor once a week just to be sure everything was fine.
They were now booked to do several shows to perform their song. She was already a big-time social media mogul, but now more endorsements were coming in. Many of them were baby sponsors and they did not even know what they were having yet.
He did not see why people made a big deal about what they were having. Girl or boy, he was pretty excited about it.
Tone Confessional:
Yes, I am glad my music is finally hitting the top of the charts. It's been a crazy few months. Releasing the album, touring, performing all by myself, meeting Riyah...now a baby on the way. I remember feeling so lonely right before I met her and...
"Ugh!" He heard Riyah yell from somewhere in their bedroom while he was down the hall in the spare bedroom set up for their confessionals.
Cameras still following him, he jumped up and went off to see where Riyah was.
"Ri, where you at?"
"Aghhh!" he heard her scream again, then started to cry.
He went towards the noise and found her in her walk-in closet. A dress she was trying to pull on, was halfway stuck, her arms still up in the air and stuck in the dress as she sat on the floor. It was a funny sight to him, but he knew not to laugh at her.
"Yo, can y'all not film my girl like this?" he said to the camera crew holding them off.
He walked into the closet with Riyah and closed the door behind him.
"Riyah, what's going on?" He pulled the dress completely off of her and dropped it on the floor. He helped her up from the floor.
"I'm getting so fat! I can't fit any of my clothes." She kept crying, the messy cry with tears and snot bubbles.
He looked around her closet, found a box of Kleenex, grabbed a few, and started to wipe her face.
"You are not fat. You are growing, Growing my child. Our child!"
"Why do I have to be so fat and swollen and...ugly!" She cried some more and covered her face with her hands.
"What are you talking about? You're still the finest woman I've ever seen. And getting hotter."
He wiped her tears away with his hands. She really looked amazing, right now, with no make-up, hair in a messy bun, skin so clear, breasts a lot fuller, her stomach swelled with his child.
His child.
He kneeled on the floor in front of her and kissed her belly.
"I love you Riyah. I love our baby." He kissed her belly again and then stood up and took her hands. "Babe, your body is going to change, and that's okay. Do you need new clothes? Let's just go shopping. Let me buy you whatever you need."
"Really?"
"Yes!"
After going through most of her clothes to find her something to wear, yes, nothing fit. The problem was, she had a cute, small shapely body before, but now her stomach had expanded, her butt a lil rounder, and those breasts...he hoped they stayed. All she wore before were little, tiny shorts and cropped tops. All her California summer-style dresses were too tight on her.
