CJ POV

Soon as he arrived in Los Angeles he hooked up with his honies there before he met up with his sisters for what they were calling a Kelly sister meet up. Yes, they were still calling it that even though they invited him to come.

Sometimes he felt like an afterthought with them. Like they forgot he existed. Nearly twenty years of not knowing his existence, so he could not blame them.

He fucked Lize and Malika soon as he touched down. Had a freaky menage a trois, a little marijuana, and got drunk as fuck. He crashed at their place before he headed to his hotel, showered, and met up with his sisters. Kitty gave them the rundown, yadda yadda and then he was ready for showtime.

It was his time to shine. Everyone knew he was thanks to the "Don't Look Down" remix, so now all he had to do was ride that wave.

Too bad his sisters were already haters.

Nola might be on her period or something, her attitude was stronger than normal. Tennille was all about herself, never even glanced his way. Kitty and Krystle focused on glamming it up for the paparazzi. Serena barking orders at him.

He may be the baby of the family but he was no baby.

Since they all were on one, he had to ditch them as soon as he could. He was not going to let them ruin his shine. He took pictures with them on the red carpet, then he snuck away from them as soon as they entered the building. Celebrities were everywhere, and he needed to catch one or two. If he was seen with a famous hot girl on his arm, that would boost his cred.

Like Megan Thee Stallion. He was in love with that woman. She was the type of woman who checked all the boxes on his list. Tall, thick, and curvy with that ass, gorgeous beyond measure, talented, looked like she could ride dick like a pro, and above all else, Black. He would eat her out every day and every night.

There were a few other celebrities on his list, but he was going to keep his cool about it.

No one was trying to come at him, they probably did not recognize him. He needed more shine on him. They would know who CJ Kelly was soon.

He texted Tone to see if he was anywhere around and he told him to meet him up inside, Riyah and he were taking their seats. He could not believe that not only had his friend knocked up a chick, but they also snuck and got married. No one knew but him, not even Nola.

That was wild to him.

"Better him than me," he said to himself and he tried to figure out how to get inside and find his seat.

That was not an easy task. The name had to be on a list, plus a ticket, plus patted down even though they were patted down before the red carpet, at the end of the red carpet. Like how was he going to bring in contraband somewhere in the middle of the red carpet? Bodyguards with licenses were able to bring in their weapons, but that was it.

Finally, he made his way inside and tried to locate his boy. Again, it was not so easy. It always looked so small on television. There was so much going on. Security barking out orders, ushers shoveling people around, and the TV production crew with cameras everywhere even though filming had not started.

He imagined Tone would be somewhere down the front area, he had no nominations, missing out on new artists of the year and all the rest. Not to be too cocky, but he wanted all the top slots next year, best new artist, album of the year, song of the year, and whatever else he could have.

Tone was to the side middle, not a great spot, considering he and his sisters were in the middle, close to the front.

"Yo, what's up! Look at you." He dapped up Tone, dressed up in a fresh fit he recognized as his sister's work. She must have been ordered to design him something. "You used to all of this by now?"

Tone shrugged it off. "My first time as well. I did the parties last year, but first time up in here."

"And he is handling it like a pro," Riyah said, still sitting in her seat.

"Why are y'all in the bad section?" CJ looked around, lots of B-List celebs in that area. How did he and his sisters get their spots? Icee for sure.

"There's no bad section at the Grammys!" Riyah said with a huff. "We are Riyah and Tone, they love us."

That reality show of theirs was a hot mess. He watched a bit of it and was annoyed by their lovey-dovey stuff for the camera. It felt fake to him, and he knew them both. Tone did not seem the type of guy to be down with all that for the camera, but he guessed love made you do crazy things.

"What party are you hitting later?" Tone asked him.

"Man! I have to go wherever Sarena tells me to go, but I think we are all splitting up. Let me know where you're headed, then I'll swing by there."

"Tone's not going out partying," Riyah said. "He's married, and I'm pregnant. We're going home."

He looked at his friend, like really? That was what his life had come to? Again, better him.

He hung and talked with him a little more till he saw his sisters heading to their seats, and then he made his way to them.

"Aye young blood, you're in your feelings about something," Icee said, pulling him aside, "But now ain't the time. Do you think you're bigger than anyone here? Listen, I can pull the plug on yo' whole shit right now. Act like you have some sense. This is your family. You ever ditch them again, it's yo ass."

Getting checked by The Icee, and he felt that. The man did hold his career in his hands. If Icee dropped him from Da Factory Hits, could he get another record deal? He knew he only obtained it because of his relation to his sisters.

He walked over to his seat and sat beside Nola.

"Sis, sorry if I offended you earlier."

"You're an ass," she said to him. "The way you treat women, like your doormat, not cute. You have six sisters, would you want a man to treat them the way you treat girls?"

He thought about it for a second, but Nola replied before he could.

"Hell no! But, you are your father's son."

That hurt him to the core. He hated being compared to that man.

A/N: Will CJ ever change? He truly needs his own book but this is a series about the sisters. He will only be in three out of the seven books.
