It was the morning of the dance with 10 hours to burn so most of the team decided to help Ruby, Weiss and Yang set up the hall.
Selena's POV
I was helping Yang set up the speakers until she spoke up.
Yang: Hey have you seen (Y/N) anywhere? It's just odd not to see him or you beside each other.
Selena: He's working on his weapons since he heads out tomorrow morning to find that village.
Yang: Do you think he'll be back for the huntsman shadowing next week?
Selena: We might have to wait and see.

You had just finished modifying my sniper to fire High explosive bullets and given it a new paint scheme along with a new name.

You brought out your Saw and got to work on it removing the ammunition rack and all the bullets. The Next step was to modify the barrel and muzzle so you don't blow yourself up.
7 hours later.
You had just finished working on the Saw giving it explosive ammo as well as a new paint scheme and name.

You then looked down at your scroll and saw the time.
(Y/N): Three hours left. Right I'll go up get a nice long shower then get ready.

You had been ready for an hour. All the guys got ready in your teams dorm. Sun, Neptune, Jaune etc. The Girls got ready in team RWBY's Dorms. You were waiting on Selena. Washington and Carolina left 30 minutes ago and told youse not to be late.

Selena: Don't flatter me like that. Especially when you put in as much if not more effort than me with what you have on.

(Y/N): Well let's go shall we? M'lady?
You held your hand out and she took it as you both made your way to the dance. It was a nice quiet, peaceful walk. The calming breeze felt great. However the peace was not kept long as you both reached the dance.
You opened the door and let Selena in first and followed behind her.
Yang: I was wondering what was taking you two so long.
Selena: That would be my fault.
Yang: Well don't be too annoyed about it. Hey (Y/N) I never fought you would ask Selena to go to the dance with you.
(Y/N): Yeah well you see.
Selena: Wait. You never told Ruby or Yang.
Yang: Never Told me and Ruby what?
(Y/N): Selena and I may have been dating for a while.
Yang: What! How long?!

Yang: You both have been dating for 2 months. And he never thought to tell his sisters?!

Yang: Well enjoy the dances you pair.

You both walked into the dance area where partners stood.
(Y/N): Would you care for a dance?
Selena: I would be honoured.
The pair of you entered a slow dance. One that was like it was from a romance movie. The music was soothing half an hour felt like three minutes as youse were snapped out of the dance by the crowd laughing.
(Y/N): What is he doing?
Selena: I have no idea.
Stood before everyone was Jaune in a dress.
(Y/N): Maybe we should stand to the side.
Selena: Yeah...
The pair of you walked to the side. JNPR broke out into a dance which was confusing enough until Carolina and Washington joined them partying the night away.
Timeskip Felix's POV
I was waiting for her to arrive. Locus decided that he didn't need to come because it "wasn't part of the Mission" or "wasn't part of his orders". I was growing impatient until I felt a tap on my shoulder.
Cinder: Would you mind having a dance?
Felix: Gladly. So how's your night been?
Cinder: A little bit more exciting than expected.
Felix: I knew I should have came along.
Cinder: Don't worry too much. I got what we needed.
