The Kitsune were created by the Goddess of compassion to help Ozpin guide Humanity and the multiple species that now occupy Remnant to Unity so they could be judged again by the brothers. While the two brothers left she remained to fulfil her purpose. To help a Warrior evade death or bring him back if need be.
The Kitsune had their own city and aided humanity despite the countless assaults on their people up until the King who united the kingdoms betrayed them and ordered the Arbiter from a species known as the sangheli to enslave the Kitsune. The two species had lived for a long time in harmony thanks to one of his precursors so he neglected the Kings orders and rebelled.
The Kitsune would be Massacred after his death. The armor was taken by can 'Vadam which migrated up to a snowy location while the remaining Kitsune hid in secretive villages all around the globe. Hoping for the Goddess of Creations warrior to rise with a new Arbiter.
