You all woke up from what Jynn had shown you all and Yang was angrier than ever.
Yang: Salem can't be killed? You all heard her too right? And Selena happens to be a long lost relative of theirs.
Everyone but you and Selena stood around Ozpin. Selena stood there shocked and unresponsive as you knelt down in front of her and tried to comfort her.
Yang: There was so much you hadn't told us! How could you think that was OK?!
Ruby: Professor? What is your plan to defeat Salem.
They spoke spiteful and annoyed.
Ozpin: I-
He looked down ashamed.
Ozpin: I don't have one...
Qrow suddenly punched him in the face as you got up and shouted at him.
(Y/N): QROW! What the hell are you doing?!
Qrow: No one wanted me! I was cursed. I gave my life to you because you gave me a place in this world. I thought I was finally doing some good.
Ozpin: But you are.
Qrow: Meeting you was the worst luck of my life.
You ran over and checked Ozpin/Oscars chin for injuries.
Yang: What the hell are you doing?!
Ozpin: Maybe your right.
He relinquished control back to Oscar who winced in pain.
Ruby: What happened?
Oscar: He's gone.
Yang: THAT BASTARD! TELL HIM WE'RE NOT DONE YET!
You finally get up and shout at Yang.
(Y/N): ENOUGH!
While you did this Oscar began to have a mental breakdown.
Yang: Are you seriously defending that asshole?!
(Y/N): He had his reasons. Even if I don't agree with them.
Yang: His "reasons" nearly got us killed!
(Y/N): And you proved his point by freaking out like a baby who couldn't get back onto the teat.
Yang got angrier and tried to punch you as Maria shouted at the group.
Marie: Enough! We need to get a move on. It will be dark before we know it and the majority of you are spewing negativity.
She helped Oscar up.
Maria: There's a trail over there. Trails usually lead somewhere.
Yang: Lady! I don't know who you think you are bu-
Maria cut her off.
Maria: No buts. I understand that your upset. Honestly I'm still coming to terms with the fact that this is humanities second time around. But if we don't move we die and I'll be damned if I lived this long just to die out here in the cold.
A few seconds of silence followed as Ruby spoke up.
Ruby: She's right. Come on.
Everyone got ready to leave as you walked over to Selena and Ruby walked to Oscar.
(Y/N): Selena... We need to go...
Selena: I...
She stood still in shock so you picked her up bridal style and carried her as you went to speak to Ruby and Oscar.
Oscar: I'm just going to be another one of his lives. Aren't I?
Ruby: Of course not. You're your own person.
Qrow: Don't lie to him Ruby.
He walked off drinking out of his flask.
Qrow: We're better than that.
He walked off with the rest of the group as Oscar spoke to you.
Oscar: Is she OK? What happened when...
(Y/N): I'll tell you when we find shelter. As for Selena... She's in a state of shock. I don't know if she'll be the same but... I'm not going to leave her side...
You both walked on as you spoke up again.
(Y/N): That's a bad bruise. You could use an ice pack. Luckily there seems to be plenty around.
Oscar chucked at you joke.
Oscar: That's a good one. Thanks (Y/N).
(Y/N): Just remember. I'll have your back. No matter what.
Timeskip
You all walked through the snow quietly. Selena was still in shock. You had somewhat of an idea of what she was going through.
Qrow: It doesn't look like this is going to let up.
Blake: I just want to get this stupid relic to atlas.
Weiss: Let's hope we don't have to walk all the way there.
Yang: I thought trails led somewhere...
(Y/N): if I recall Maria said they usually lead somewhere.
Yang shot you a glare.
Maria: Yeo I said that and do you have nothing better to do than to harass a defenseless old lady.
Swinging was heard as Ruby spoke up.
Ruby: Everyone quiet. Do you hear that...
You all walked up to an abandoned estate which stood there fully built.
Blake: Well at least one good thing happened today.
Weiss: Well it looks abandoned.
Ruby: Its still better than this.
(Y/N): I'll make sure it's safe. Blake can you keep an eye on Selena please.
Blake: Sure.
You set Selena beside Blake and walked towards the main building and entered it. You cleared each room and reached a bedroom where as soon as you entered it you saw a dead couple.
(Y/N): Poor people... They must of froze to death.
You got blankets from the wardrobes and left them in the living where you lit a fire. You went to clear every other building and found people dead in there beds.
(Y/N): Best not tell the others or they won't go in.
You returned to the group.
(Y/N): it's safe and I started a fire in the living room in the first building. Just avoided the bedrooms. A lot of rats in them.
Qrow: Right. Come on.
You walked over to Selena and picked her up again and entered the building.
