Sequel to: So this is love? ~ Elmax
(Spoilers ahead if you haven't read book 1)
Eleven and Max live together in Hawkins with the Byers and Hopper. Summer vacation is coming to an end as the kids make themselves ready for school to start again. Ever...
Yesterday, those few moments before dinner, was still playing in my head as I skate to school together with El and Will. They both were riding their bike next to me. I could still feel El on top of me, kissing my neck with her fingers inside of me, making me feel oh so good. But as I predicted we got interrupted again. So now all I could think of was El and how good we can make each other feel if we had the chance too. I could tell El was thinking the same thing, since she was very touchy and distracted today before we left for school, which made it even harder, since we basically couldn't even look each other at school, since people would start talking and assuming things.
We speeded to school since we were already a bit late. We had math first so we ran to our lockers to get our books out. I threw in my skateboard and took out my maths book as I quickly ran to the class together with El and Will. We made it just in time as we took a seat as we catch our breath. Me and Will got some dirty looks from Sharon and Dave who were already hating on us big time for some reason. I roll my eyes as I simply ignore them. I got my book and notebook out as I lay them down in front of me. The teacher was doing her standard talk and explaining things as I was just sketching in my notebook. El sat next to me as I look over so now and then. My mind still filled with her. I thought back about the question El asked me before. Which animal she would be and without thinking I started drawing a luna moth. I smile at my notebook as I thought about El and her beautiful smile. "Maxine, I am happy you are back in my class, but can you pay attention please?" The teacher says a little sern. I look up a bit surprised. "It's Max, but Yeah, sorry." I mumble as I focus back on some math questions. El looks over at me with a soft smile as I smile back.
We finished Math and History as Me and El were working on our projects in the library. We had a free period so we spend it together in the library, finishing our homework so we would have some free time at home. "I suck at math. It's just so confusing." El groans as she was struggling with some questions. "I know right. I can give you my notes? maybe they will help. " I suggest as I hand her over my notebook. Totally forgetting what I drew in math class today. She opens my notebook as she gasps softly. I look up from my history homework as I saw El blushing and staring at my notebook with big eyes. I turn red instantly as I forgot that I had drawn all over my notes. "Max, did you do this in class?" She asks with a grin. "I forgot I did that- but yes I did." I admit as my cheeks burn up. "Max this is beautiful. You drew me?" She asks with a bright smile. "Yes, I just couldn't get you out my mind." I smile as I stare at El looking at the drawing. "It's not that good- it's just a quick sketch." I nervously say as I shift in place slightly. "Max are you kidding?! It's so good and pretty. I like the butterfly too." El smiles as she meets my eyes.

"It's a moth actually. You asked me what animal you'd be and I thought about a luna moth." I explain as El looks at me slightly confused. "It's super pretty, but what made you draw a moth for me? I heard people don't like moths a lot. " She asks curious. "Well first of all I love moths. I think they are really pretty and wonderful creatures." I smile. "before I tell you, Have you ever seen a real luna moth?" I ask as El shook her head no. "Wait here." I giggle softly as I search a book about insects in the library and come back with a book full of pictures and information about all sorts of insects. I found a picture of a luna moth and sat down next to El a little closer now as I show her the picture. "Here you go. That's what they really look like. My drawing doesn't do them justice." I chuckle softly as El her eyes light up. "they are really pretty!" She smiles. "They are, but that isn't the only reason I chose this for you." I smile as I meet El her eyes.
