Lakeside High located in Huntsville, Texas. The Only Thing this town was known for was a massive high school that sent country boys to the NFL. But taking a look at those country boys
there was only one rule that those boys actually lived by. And it was so well known but never even mentioned because the punishment brought to much fear into the Varsity's football team hearts. And that rule sadly revolves around Jayde Carter. Now She didn't ask for it but it's just because of my blood. Specifically because of her dad.
Her dad was the football coach at Lakeside High a school known for sending kids to college and the league. When her dad figured out she was gonna be a girl instead of a boy the first thing that he thought of was how to protect her.
And now the rule he came up with and preaches to his players is.
No one
Absolutely no one will date coach's daughter.
If a boy even smiled at me they would run yards during games and sit out the whole game. It was sad she'd seen it with her own eyes.
But she never cared about it until she saw Logan Hunter for the first time.
He stood at 6'2, a deep voice, fluffy hair, a toned body filled with muscles and abs, And thick sharp eyebrows. And her dad hated the way our eyes immediately locked and just smiled but never said a word around him.
The bad thing about Jayde liking him wasn't even the rule. But the whole
black girl dating a white boy in a town like ours would be terrible. A little thing about Huntsville Texas is that it was diverse but white people would hat to see someone other than their own reflection in their neighborhood. So the only time we ever only talked was in 7th period Physics class. She always helped him and taught him techniques to focus since this wasn't his favorite subject.
Jayde's Pov
But it was a normal class until he told me in a sneaky tone whispering"Can you see me after school today" he said which surprised me since it was right after this class
"I don't think it's a good idea for us to be around each other outside of this class Logan" I said
"Yeah but that's what makes it funnier" he said smirking which only intrigued me
"Fine but if you get in trouble it's not my fault" I said worried but I could feel the excitement bursting out of Logan body
"Of course not"
The bell rung I packed my stuff up. And followed Logan threw the crowded halls. Having a huge body in front of me like that felt like having a real life shield in front of me.
My friend Nora Moore caught my wrist caught in the grasp of Logan Hunters hands. As she squeezed threw students
"Girl don't be crying when you're phone get taken away because of Hunter" she said following us now
"I won't" I said but before I knew it we exited threw the back entrance and headed to the field.
"You know it's not the smartest idea to take me to the field where my dad is at preparing for your team" I said still in the grip of his hands
