"Come on Logan! Acting like you don't wanna play tomorrow night"Coach yelled at me. Even do it was his fault. The only thing I could think about was his family. Even though it wasn't my job the only thing I should be worried about was Jayde. But that wasn't the case.
So in my head I tripped over my own feet and this was my favorite drill.
"Fuck" I semi yelled putting my hands on my hands"Look at your captain to in his head he could barely function right" he said to the team luckily practice was three minutes away till over and I just walked out.
Changing in the locker room ignoring all my teammates and just going in and out. I sighed leaving and I sighed walking in my house seeing Lydia laying on the kitchen counter.
"Why hello big brother" she popped up smiling
"Hey Lydia get off the table" I said looking through the fridge
"Ughh. Do you know when mom is getting home?" She asked
"She's doing a late shift so maybe two" I assumed our mom's job at the hospital was so unpredictable. Coming home late nights leaving in the morning. It was like she was never here even invisible. It was like this our whole life but now Lydia was old enough to realize.
"Oh well can you call Jayde over tonight"She asked as I stopped drinking my water
"Why?" I asked
"I just need her help tonight" She said blankly
"So what now you need Jayde's help not mine" I said upset because my job is to help her
"We'll do you wanna learn how to curl my hair and potentially burn it out"She said back and suddenly that jealousy faded away
"Hard no on that one. So I'll call her" I grabbed my phone out my pocket
"Put it on speaker"She said sitting up from the counter
"Hey Logan"She said through the speaker
"Hey Jayde can you come over. Lyd needs your help with her hair" I said getting cut of"Say no more tell her I'm coming" she hung up and Lydia hopped of the counter
"Come on Logan get a pizza in the oven or something" she pushed me well at least tried
"Why?" I questioned
"Because! You have your pretty girlfriend coming to your house who usually comes to study. Now she's coming to do something else and you better show her a good time"She shouted at me as I came to realization
"Lydia you must be a genius! You are so right" I said looking at her
