Jayde loved that Logan invited her to this hockey game with his cousin Cris and his little sister Lydia. She never knew that Logan really loved hockey. She had a smile on her face the whole time even though she knew nothing about hockey. Just that the puck needed to go in the net then Logan and Cris would jump up.
"That's my brother"Cris shouted in excitement as Jayde attention turned straight to him.
"Yep that number six that's Cris older brother" Lydia said as Jayde paused braiding her hair
"But that means"Jayde said trying to process the situation
"That hockey player right there" she said pointing threw the glass and looking at me
"That's Cris older brother so that's me and Logan cousin"Jayde smirked
"I just thought we came I didn't know that he was on the team"
"I know I could tell" A laugh came from Lydia. She adored Jayde she was like the sister she never had. Jayde continued to braid her hair and a smile appeared on both their faces.
"So how's eight grade?" Jayde asked
"It's alright I guess you know my boyfriend Alex figured out Logan's my brother" she said upset
"Really I know "Jayde responded interested At this point they weren't even watching the game
"I know you should come and be a chaperone!"at this moment Lydia thought that was one of her best ideas of all of her nine years
"I don't think I can I mean I'm barely even turning seventeen "
"I know but like you're in the eleventh grade that's a lot of grades since the fourth"
"I know and I would love to but I don't think I need to be around twenty something kids at one time. You're just enough Lyd"Lydia wasn't upset about the rejection instead she admired how Logan looked at Jayde like how she was some princess from a movie.
And Logan however thought about how well Jayde was with Lydia. Lydia was one of the most important people in his life and he loved her with all her heart and made it a priority to be there whenever she needed because she wasn't going to get it from their mom. It also made him imagine how a life would be when they had kids.
But Cris saw the way Logan looked at Jayde like she was the only person in the world even though a game was happening. So when he tried to focus
on the game he just heard girls screaming. He had a good heart and desired to have a girlfriend but never had a girl with the same desires. Or maybe it was just him that was the problem. He got up through the crowded stands and eventually made it to the bathroom where he watched all the stickiness from his snacks go down the drain along with the water. He looks at his self he knew that he had to go back to the pointless disappointment. He took a few breaths before opening the bathroom door and finally was ready so he busted out the door.
Soon regret ran through his body as he felt something hit the ground on perfect timing. He slowly peaked his head out to see a pretty girl on the floor of the arena with her hand on her forehead. Instantly he got on the floor by her side
"Did I just hit you?!"Asked a scared Cris but the question was honestly quite obvious
"No I just like being on the ground"the girl snapped back
"I'm sorry I was just rushing and I seriously didn't even know you were there " Cris said rambling out of nervousness but this girl just started at him blankly
He bent down to her level and extended his hand out expecting to help her
"What?" She coldly asked him he figured he would just be helpful if he just grabbed her hand and picked her up and that's what he tried to do
"Don't touch me!"She said getting irritated by Crisa silence filled as she stood up
"Are you okay?"She looked like she was ready to kill in that moment she leaned against the wall and held her head with her palm
"Yeah I'm good" she said back
"I'm Cris Daniels" He said maybe because he was nervous but regretted that statement because of how random it was
"Did I ask
"Yeah that was kinda stupid of me but you can just play along and act like that wasn't that embarrassing"She stared at him with no emotion making him wonder
"Mhmm okay"She finally said "I'm Andrea Morgan.. you can call me drea"She smiled I extended my hand and she shook it
"It's nice to meet you" she stared at me and smirked
"I'm sure will never see each other again" she said kinda mean to me
"You know it's a small town"She smiled
"Not that small" She giggled flipped her hair and walked away the smile on my face faded away'What did I do this time' I wondered why she just left
