Jayde POV
After the game last night I don't know why but I became very sick and that never happens. I was lying in bed barely able to breathe through my nose with instant runny nose's and harsh coughing. I hated every single second I watched the tv watching the Addams family when I heard something at my window I just assumed it was a branch or something but then I heard a sound again but this time intentional. 

Honestly scaring myself I got out of my bed and pulled back the curtain then a feeling of relief came through seeing Logan I immediately went to sliding my window down.

"What are you doing here?" I said confused

"Well when I called you it sounded like you were dying so I decided to be a gentleman for you"He said lifting up a bag and passing it through the window

"Thank you baby" I said with a smile on my face as I put the bag down on my floor

"You're welcome beautiful"He said back

"You can come in if you wanna" I offered

"Nah I'm good I don't want to disrespect anyone's house"he told me
"Well I'll see you at school tomorrow" he added on

Jayde's POV
It was a normal day I sat beside Logan in physics class until we got split. I asked Mr.Malfoy why and he answered by saying

"Things don't last forever Ms.Carter everything must change in my classroom"How could he look so happy when he was taking this perfect seating chart but I didn't wanna sound like a brat soI sealed my lips until I saw a nightmare form right in front of me as I watched as
Kaitlyn Rivers sat right next to him.

Suddenly Mr.Malfoy's face looked very punchable and Kaitlyn's were deep into Logan's eyes the more they talked the harder it got to watch. My body boiled with jealousy

"Honestly just watching isn't gonna do anything" My new partner kian said trying to comfort me he was right

And then my head drew closer on the desk and bumped my head several times with a groan in the middle.

"Damn Kian you don't have to be so straight up with her"Kayla added on

Logan Pov
I sat down next to Kaitlyn and she talked about how she was going to cut her split ends today. I thought she was acting ridiculous and I had no choice but to laugh because she was the true definition of a dumb blonde. After some time I looked around at Jayde to see her talking to Kian with a slight smile how could he look at my Jayde like that?

"Are you listening?" She asked as I stared at Jayde across the room talking to Kian. I rolled my eyes he was a transfer student from Jefferson and now on my team.

"Yeah" I remembered

"Who are you looking at ?" She asked

"No just saw a bug" I lied but somehow she believed me

"Okay"

The bell rung and I was in my head about Jayde and Kian and I just got right up

"Hey Logan if you wanna we can start studying together"She offered

"I think that's a wonderful idea you all should be more like Logan and Kaitlyn! Students taking an opportunity to learn outside of this physics class will always have an advantage"
Mr.Malfoy announced into the classroom and with that the door handle jiggled and Jayde was nowhere in the classroom.

The bell rung seconds after and I walked out of the classroom looking for her. But she was deeply sunken into Lakeside High hallways.

Jayde POV
The class was almost over and I was playing with the pockets in my cargos until I got startled by Mr. Malfoy's voice projecting
"I think that's a wonderful idea you all should be more like Logan and Kaitlyn! Students taking an opportunity to learn outside of this physics class will always have an advantage"
It felt like every word was meant to cut deep into me. Even when we tried it didn't go as planned just like last night.

I couldn't stand there and watch the boy I love getting paired up with another girl that still had feelings about him. So then I saw myself in the crowded hallways putting on my hood so nobody would notice my tears overflowing like a glass on a rainy day.

Logan POV

"This better be worth it"I said to myself nervously standing outside of Jayde's house with hands sweating like I'm in the desert.
I knocked three times and debated on leaving another ten times in my head I heard the door unlock and Jayde's mom on the other side

"Logan honey what's wrong aren't you supposed to be at practice?"
She asked concerned about me like a mother figure

"Oh yeah I'm fine. I was just wondering if Jayde was here I was worried about her" I questioned her face looked sorrow

"Yes she's here" she said still with still the same emotion but I filled up with relief

"Do you mind if I come see her?" I asked her hopeful

"I'm afraid I can't do that Logan"She said as I pressed my lips together

"Ma'am taking off my shoes is fine with me I won't mind" I insisted

"Logan it's not that she locked herself in her room for some time" She said it made my heart shrivel up

"You don't understand I have to make sure she's okay.  Please I gotta see her" I told her starting to feel passion enter my heart

"I'm sorry Logan... Maybe you should go to practice to get your mind off things"She recommended

"Okay"

I tried to go to bed early that night but I couldn't sleep. The only thing on my mind was Jayde but as soon as her face faded from my thoughts my phone rung

"Hello" I answered not even looking at the screen

"What the hell is wrong with you Logan?" Jayde's voice blasted out of the speakers with a harsh tone

"What do you mean?" I questioned thrown off

"What do I mean you have to be joking. You seriously came to my house knowing my dad is gonna flip because you're on my doorstep asking for me. Do you know how much trouble you can get in"She said upset

"Your worth it Jayde I don't care" I said

"Well since you don't care I won't either" And that was it no
