Logan POV
The next day at school before school started I watched as Jayde walked to my car. Her face was blank and she came to open the door and got in and stared at me"So you made me come to your truck just so you could stare at me"She said annoyed
"No I just wanted to know like what happened to you" I asked her
"I mean where do I start when you agreed to study with Kaitlyn or showing up to my house"She said
"I didn't agree" I defended myself
"You didn't say no"She snapped back at me as I threw my head back
"Why do you care about some dumb study thing anyways" I asked her because she was starting to act like she was jealous
"Because that was our thing Logan! You're acting like I didn't show up to your house every Thursday night to help you."She said getting more frustrated and her hands moving a thousand ways
"Why didn't you just tell me Jayde?" I asked her because it didn't make sense
"Because it felt like I was losing you in a matter of minutes"She expressed herself I ran my hands through my hair and put my head on the steering wheel regretting
"I know it sounds crazy but that's the only thing I can compare it too" she said sounding so hopelessly
"Why is your head on the wheel stop being dramatic"She stated"I'm not being dramatic. I'm upset"I blurted out
"Well how do you think I feel" She said making me feel even worse I looked at her to see her eyebrows scrunched up at me
"I'm sorry Jayde" I tried to touch her but she shoved my hand away
"Just because you apologize doesn't mean you have to touch"
"Okay I'm sorry let's just-"
"Let's just go to class okay" She cut me off unexpectedly grabbing her backpack
"Are you still mad?" I questioned her
"I'm fine Logan school starts in ten minutes and my first class is really far"
"Okay I'll see you during break then?" I said watching her hop out my truck
"Yeah" Then her voice got cut off by the slamming of my truck. I got out the truck also to get my backpack and feeling a hand on my shoulder almost making a flinch in my body
"What was that all about lil miss Jadye was looking annoyed"Austin said in an annoying way
"It doesn't matter we already fixed the problem okay" I said as Austin's hands went up like he didn't do anything
"Okay chill out. I see that anger rubbing off on you" he said as we made are way through the hallway
As Cris walked up to us on the phone.
"Okay bye I love you" He said as both of are heads jerked back
"That better be your mom bro" Austin said laughing
"Now it's not stop it~"Cris dragged out
"So then who is it" I questioned with a smirk
"Is it a girl" Austin asked having his hand on Cris shoulders rising his eyebrow
"Yeah who else"He said with an attitude growing
"Well who's the lucky girl" Austin asked
"More like unlucky girl" I joked around
"Shut up Logan anyways her name is Andrea"He spoke as both of us looked with disgust
I stopped in my tracks to stare at him
"Are you serious like Andrea from last week""Yeah she's actually pretty cool"He said looking at us
"Man you're crazy if a girl talked shit about my friends, the team I play for the people I call my family. I would never speak to her again and that's just that"Austin said getting upset
and walking away from us"Logan you aren't mad right?" He asked
"Mhmm no I just don't know how you two even clicked. I mean she literally just embarrassed you. I can't even imagine you two together!" I expressed and just saw him smirking at me
"Why you gotta smile on your face" I asked
"I'm following your footsteps"
"How?"
"I mean I'm down for the brown! Just like you"Was he seriously trying to compare Jayde and Andrea. I mean yes there cousins. But nothing alike
"Sometimes you talk to much Cris"I said walking off
"Are you coming to the party tonight?"He asked
"For the team?" I questioned
"Yeah"He replied
"Yeah I'm going I'm thinking about bringing Jayde"
"Well I'll see you there"He said. This whole party was always the third day after the whole Lakeside and Jefferson game. It was at a big bonfire that led into the woods. I had seen Jayde there before but we had never talked then. But now that we're together I thought it would be a good idea though.
