Arthur glanced up at me through his booth and gave a grin in my direction, I turned to see if he was glancing past, but he seemed struck at me.
I felt my phone buzz in my pocket, I turn back and grin;

I grab my coat and walk to Arthur's stall and flick him on the temple.
"-Ay!"
"Who's wasting time now?" I tease.
Arthur does that 'Really?' Face.

It's really awkward in the elevator, but then I have an idea. I smirk a little and pull out my phone.
M-MWAHAHAHHAHAHA
Arthur just glances up,,after seeing my text. And does a side funny smile.
"You know I'm right next to you?"
"Mhm."
The door goes "ping" so we exit.
Then there is the glass door, and I tag us out with my card.
We had to run across the road to avoid a truck coming out.
"How about that Japanese café there?"
"Okay,"
"Table for two thanks,"
"Can get you gentlemen any drinks for starters?"
"I'll have a spice chai thanks."

I notice we both seem to be pissed, but Merlin is cutely asleep curled up on my chest.
"Merrrrlin!" I slur, wondering how many beers ago it was I fell for the boy.
"M?"
"Smeeee!" I say,
"-K then" he mumbles, not seeming to care.
I feel him shift around me, sitting leaning his head in the crook of my neck.
He gives a small kiss on my cheek, then reburries his face in my shoulder trying to hold his blush, while I stare wide eyed at the wall.
My best friend just kissed me, and blushed, maybe this means- no don't have fantasies over it. It's just the alcohol.
We end up falling asleep on the couch.
When I wake up I have to leave the couch to grab an aspirin for the pain in my head, but realise Merlin had fallen asleep with his lips on mine, my god! I don't recall anything.
I don't dare move though, because he has a beautifully peaceful look on his face, and this could be my chance...
Merlin's eyes open in shock and for a moment they look bigger than his cute big ears.
I think my pupils just dilated, and I thin- hope I saw his do so too...
He slowly takes his lips of mine, and my heart is literally a rocket. How will we act around eachother now? Is it going to be awkward between us? Will he still want to talk to me?
At least my headache's gone.
Realising we are still staring at eachother, he starts to move towards me again, whispering over my ear, "you are the bestest friend anyone could ever ask for"
He gives me a pop kiss on the cheek.
I feel heat creep up over my face, neck and reaching my ears.
He hops off but my body remains frozen in shock, a pleasant furry feeling tickles my chest and I feel like a firework. I am so happy.
Who needs an aspirin when you've got a Merlin anyway........
