y/n pov

I sigh as I dry off my ears. I'm fully dressed in (whatever you want to wear) but my dog ears have problems. I'm a pitbull yokai, it's hard to be one, I get a bad rap in the mystic city. It honestly pisses me off.

I look at myself in the mirror. It's weird I don't look all that much like a dog, yes I have a more dog-like face but it's like I don't even have fur, I have hair, but I really only have ears,tail and paw pad like hands. My fingertips have paw pads like skin. It's weird, I'm not fully sure why, but I don't look anything like a natural born yokai and it sucks.

I sit down on my bed and hug myself. I have a date in like an hour with my boyfriend. We have been an item for maybe 4 years now. I'm always happy when around him, I hope to ask him to move in with me soon. But not sure that would be the greatest idea, I need to get dinner started for the date.

-time skip-

I set the last of the food on the table and I hear a doorbell, that must be leo! I smile and my tail wags as I open the door.

"Leo! Hi!" I pecked his cheek and took his hand to lead him to sit down. He smiled and pecked my hand with a gentle kiss as I went to sit on the other side.

My face turns pink and smiles at me ever so sweetly, I loved that smile.

Leo's pov

I'm very nervous about this date. I kept checking my pockets in my pants I wore to make sure the ring box was still in there. I smiled to hide my anxiety.

What if he doesn't want to marry me? What if he says no? What if he breaks up with me!? My head was kind of spiraling but when he touched my hand my anxiety went away.

Nobodies pov

The boys enjoyed each other's company and did the normal date stuff.

They ate dinner, played video games, talked, and laughed.

And now it was the end of the night. Leo was terrified but stood up.

"Hey, I wanna take you somewhere!" Leo took y/n's hand and dragged him out the house.

"Hey what's going on!" y/n laughed as Leo covered his eyes with his own hands.

"Just gimme a second!" Leo laughed along with y/n while he got all set up.

y/n pov

I was so confused but I found it funny. I had my hands covering my eyes but I saw the darkness brighten up behind my hands. And was honestly really excited.

"Okay..open"

I uncovered my eyes and was blown away from the sight. I gasped. We were in the forest and there were fairy lights around the trees and a bench.

Leo took my hand and sat me down on the bench and went on one knee. I feel my eyes well up with tears of happiness and I smile.

"y/n l/n..will yo-" leo started and i interrupted him

"YES YES A MILLION TIMES YES" I yell in pure happiness.

We laughed at my actions and he hugged me and kissed me all over my face and he touched my foreheads. My tail wagged rapidly and he placed the ring on my finger and we smiled hugging each other.

This is gonna be the most amazing year..
