Chapter 4

Today was Izzy's birthday. The whole family was here all happy, they're actually enjoying each other's time. No fighting, no grudges being held, nothing. Everyone was happy. Which is the first time since I was born. I wonder what has gotten into them........ But I won't ask because it might ruin the good spirit.

I was shucking corn to go on the grill when I looked outside to see him and uncle Cory fighting. I freaked out "they're fighting!!" I said

"Well yeah....... they've been doing that for a while....." Bre said

I ran outside to stop it "hey! Hey! You idiots stop it!" They stopped. He smiled at me like I just made his whole life better by showing up.

"Its okay. We've been fighting for a while. We were play fighting." He said

"Yeah well that looked to real....... I bet you I can beat you in a fight." I said cheerfully

So the four of us was play fighting for a while. Me against him and Bre against uncle Cory. I completely forgot about the corn.

While We were play fighting I wanted to make this fun little bet. "If I win I get to do what ever I want to you. If you win you get to do what ever you want to me." I said. So he really got happy. I was about to win but when he turned his arm a certain way I knew it was over. He grabbed my shoulder and flipped me onto the ground. When he did that I tried to grab his shirt but I accidentally dug my nails into his skin. He screams the most horrifying scream and I immediately let go.

"My buttons are gone. That's not good. Not good at all." He said. He started freaking out but then I grabbed his shoulders and say "don't worry I can sew them back on." I look for the buttons. Thankfully I found them all. I grabbed the needle and thread, my bookbag, and some food from the little restaurants around us.

Jada, Him, and I walked down this little hall behind the family owned restaurants after we got everything. Jada told him and I about this spot that was very relaxing and just gave you security about life. It took so long to get there...... it almost felt like hours. but we finally got to this little spot that Jada told us about. We had to go up the stairs, downstairs, upstairs again, crawl through a little space, then we had to walk downstairs again. but we finally got there.

"You're gonna absolutely love it. I mean the place may be a little dark but some candles will help." said Jada

When we got there it was absolutely beautiful. A nice red-orange tone, like a warm tone, black sheer curtains with red diamond studs hanging from the wide windows, burgundy couches with like a soft touch to it, six feet deep pool with nice pretty blue water, a music station so anybody and everybody can play their music, and you also have a lot of bedrooms if you want to stay for a little bit. It was the most beautiful place I had ever seen. The way she described it was the best way to describe it. It's different but typical.
