Days has past since the gang's last encounter with the villain. Everyone now noticed that whoever, or whatever they were fighting, was much more powerful than they have expected. A event that was once meant to be a easy retrieving package, now turned into fighting possibly dimensional gods. They needed to prepare themselves, and so they started to enforce their base for a possible siege.
Everyone was hard at work, Jam was finding ways to fix the teleporter and refine the Improbability Drive. Prodigy found a few zombie corpses and used them as punching bags. Hilde spent his time running circles around the base for exercise while Peep stayed in Jalea's tent, encouraging him and giving him moral support as Jalea works on a stronger form of healing.
Day after day, the siege never came, and the supplies that they brought started to run low. Prodigy was the first to snap, rushing into Dave's room to yell at him. "How long are we going to stay here?" Prodigy, who was usually the most quiet of the gang, was shouting really loudly and scared everyone.
"I'm not sure Prods, none of us are at this poin-" Dave barely started when he was interrupted by Prodigy "For weeks, we've been stuck at god knows where, fighting for our lives. We are running out of food, everyone is tired, and I only want to know when we can go home." Prodigy was no longer shouting, but he was visibly angry at Dave for sending them to a mission without knowledge of the area. "So are you angry at me for being attacked?" Dave stood up, the air of a man ready to fight. "No, I just expected the leader of the group to know what he signed up for." Prodigy replied.
Dave was also visibly angry, his normally kind expression was gone, for the first time, the brothers had a argument this large. Jam noticed it first and hinted everyone to hide inside Jalea's tent until they were done arguing. After a while, the argument stops and Prodigy came outside, not in the mood to discuss whatever has just happened.
A few moments later, Dave came out, dressed up for war. "Everyone, I'm not going to sugar coat it at all now." Dave announced, "We are running low on food, which means if we keep on doing nothing but defend, we are going to die." Everyone gave a audible gasp, including prodigy. "The only way for us to live, is by fighting back, we need to plan a breakout. Mochi and Force." Dave pointed at Mochi and Hilde. "You two scout the area, tell us how many enemies are there, and we will fight our way through, try to find a safe space."
Mochi and Hilde went outside to scout, during that time, everyone else was getting ready for a breakout. Prodigy wore heavy armor that would help him rush through reinforced steel and apply resistances to explosives. Zak and Lucas set their differences aside and prepared for a battle containing both styles of explosives.
Everyone prepared for an all out attack, but they had to be patient and wait until Mochi and Hilde came back, eventually both of them came back with a nicely detailed map about potential hiding spots. Dave settled with the laboratory that they found the device in, since they may be able to find some more tips on how to use the machine there.
They all rushed out within seconds, the enemy that were guarding the siege had no idea what happened and were all destroyed by the gang, which was more prepared for the fight. A few enemy scouts managed to escape and alarm the main army, which caused reinforcements to arrive within minutes.
The battle began, with Prodigy crushing everyone he could see that was grey and had a cross for a face. It caused an uproar within the enemies and focused their attacks on Prodigy ,which allowed Mochi, Hilde and Dave to slip into the enemies and cause chaos among everyone else. Zak and Lucas were high in the air, launching explosives at the giants and large crowds. While Jam spent his time resupplying everyone with ammunition.
The three new allies decided that this may be the fight to end everything and joined in the war against the Agency. They took one of Jam's electric shields and started to attack the enemy with everything they had. During the chaos, Prodigy was the one who inflicted the most upon the enemy, murdering many giants with the help from Zak and Lucas and killed an unknown number of agents during his stampede to reach other giants.
The longer the fight lasted, the less it seemed that the gang was going to win. Jam's body was already destroyed, Zak and Lucas were all shot and gravely injured, high above the air in a parachute. Jalea was trying to heal Zak and Lucas but was shot during the process, lying on the floor. This meant they would have to retreat, but everywhere else was heavily guarded. This meant one thing, they had to use the portable improbability drive. "Hilde, get the Drive to Prodigy and let him trigger it!" Dave shouted through the yells of Prodigy and the noises from the guns that were fired everywhere, only for Hilde to reply with "I can't find the drive, my bag is missing!" Dave quickly looked around the place to find the bag.
After a while, Dave finally located the bag, it was on top of the laboratory roof, it was opened and a agent was about to trigger the machine, when a sniper shot killed the agent, and another person picked up the machine, a 3ft4, young, and very adorable person.
Peep has activated the Drive.
