Prodigy took control of the situation at once, telling Mochi to return to the camp and stay there while he dealt with Mag Agent- Torture. Mochi obeyed at once and floated back to the camp at top speed (Yes, Mochi is half ghost, which is also why he does not produce heat at all). Prodigy transformed into his 15ft tall brute and chased after Mag Agent Torture.
Mag Agent Torture was trying to escape and alert his team when Prodigy appeared behind him, punching Mag Agent's head as hard as he could, but Mag Agent heard Prodigy's heavy breathing and dodged the fist, he then pulled out his shotgun and shot Prodigy on the chest. Prodigy fell backwards slightly, but jumped back up at top speed, charging back at Mag Agent Torture.
Within minutes the battle turned into a stalemate, Mag Agent ran out of shotgun ammo and was badly injured, while Prodigy's chest was practically filled with holes, he wasn't dead or gravely injured yet, but he was really tired and can't attack anymore. Mag Agent lifted his Shotgun like a club and swung it down on Prodigy, but Prodigy still had enough energy to block off his shotgun hit. He snatched the shotgun out of Mag Agent's hand and threw it aside, slowly closing in to Mag Agent.
Mag Agent tried to run away, but suddenly both Mag Agent and Prodigy heard the sound of a trumpet blowing above them, they both looked up and saw a man parachuting down holding a shining rocket launcher(Buff Banner and Beggars Bazooka) and charged in. he stomped hard on Mag Agent's face and shot him with 3 really quick rockets. Mag Agent fell to the floor and passed out.
Prodigy tied Mag Agent up and dragged him back to the camp site while the rocket man followed. Prodigy seems tired but the rocket man looks like he was filled with energy. Finally after a while Prodigy asked the man, " So... what brings you around here." The man held out a letter for Prodigy to read, but since Prodigy was so big he couldn't see anything on the letter. So the man read it out for him. " It's kind of a big deal, I don't know what, but apparently it is big enough for the military to be involved. They sent me and many others, but I think everyone else is dead." The man shrugged and put the letter away. " I was lucky enough to aboard a helicopter the other side was using, took the man down, and drove it over. "
A while later after the man explained to Prodigy what happened, they arrived at the campsite to find that there was a force field active, Prodigy knocked on the force field and Dave walked out with a sword that is made out of materials that looks extremely like human flesh. "Identify yourself, both of you" said Dave in a rather threatening tone. "My name is Prodigy and I spent 20 years in a lab, i'm vulnerable to explosives and is afraid of needles" Prodigy said, Dave allowed Prodigy in and then pointed at the rocket man, "now your turn."
"Alright then, my name is -" the man didn't get to finish his sentence when Jam burst through the force field and went to hug his best friend. "Lucas :D" Jam squealed as he went to hug the rocket man (AKA Lucas). He signed and continued " My name is Lucas and I'm a 28 years old rocket launcher expert, my best friends are Jam, and Zak, you happy Dave?" Dave thought for a moment, then let Lucas in.
As Lucas went inside Dave went to heat up some soup for Lucas, Prodigy turned back into his 7ft self and left Mag Agent outside. Zak and Jam were both talking to Lucas while both Jalea and Prodigy didn't seem too glad of Lucas's appearance.Lucas took some army rations and ate them with Dave's soup.
"So, do tell me why the military is getting involved in this?" Dave took this opportunity to ask Lucas for information, Lucas replied " I am equally as confused as you are Dave, they never told us why, all they said was to let us retrieve a package in a heavily guarded lab." Dave thought for a moment, then asked " Do you have any ideas or guesses on what it could be?" Lucas also thought for a moment before replying "Me and the other troops discussed it a little, we narrowed it down to either something dangerous or really powerful. Might be some doomsday device, who knows, at this point I feel like anything is possible."
Dave nodded and drank some soup in silence, then he said " I don't think we packed a sleeping bag for you, you might have to squeeze in with someone else while we try to fix the portal to get us back. This job, well paid or not, is a big too much for all of us, this includes Prodigy." A while later everyone finished their midnight snack and Prodigy continued his guard duty while Lucas squeezed into a sleeping bag with Jam, who didn't seem to mind very much.
