"I'm kind of nervous, (f/n).." Connie said. You smiled warmly at him and take his hand in yours, squeezing it lightly, trying to reassure him.

"There's nothing to be nervous about, we're just going to introduce you to my mother." you explained, moving your thumb to the back of his hand, rubbing his skin. Connie sighs.

"That's supposed to be my job." he mumbled, talking about your small signs of affection. You laughed a little and nuzzled into him.

"Don't sweat it, okay?" you asked and Connie nodded in return. You led Connie, with you in front of him, towards the front steps of your house and rung the doorbell waiting for your loving mom to answer. When your mom opened the door, the first thing she saw was an unknown boy standing right next to her beloved daughter. Almost immediately, your mother shown a protective side of herself and reached out for your hand, pulling you away from your boyfriend.

"(f/n), who's the boy?" your mom asked, giving him an awkward smile. Not knowing what to do, Connie put his hand on the back of his head, scratching it awkwardly, and looked away at particularly nothing, he felt too embarrassed to be looking at the mother of his girlfriend.

"This boy here, is well, my boyfriend." you said. Your mom's ears perked up as she heard you utter the words, 'boyfriend'. Connie's heartbeat was going so fast, he didn't know what to do. He didn't think his heartbeat would quicken even more when he heard the knuckles cracking from your mother. When he looked back at your mother, he saw her eyes glaring at him and a dark aura surrounding her. Connie never felt so scared in his life before.

"B-b-boyfriend?! Is that so?" your mom asked. You laughed, very nervously, and put your hand on your mom's arm.

"Y-yeah. You don't have to beat him up though like my other boyfriends!" you told her, Connie tensed up when you mentioned about having other boys in a relationship with you besides himself. You continued, "He's been very good to me."

Your mom calmed down a little, but still felt weary about Connie. She eyed him suspiciously, and Connie had to restrain himself from running away. He found it as a pleasure to meet your mom and be introduced by her, but he had to be scared along the way, he felt uncomfortable.

"He better be good. What's your name? Nice buzzcut, by the way." your mother said to Connie. Connie raised one eyebrow, somehow he felt like that 'compliment' about his hair style, wasn't really a compliment at all.

"My name is Connie! Connie Springer! It's nice to meet you, Mrs. (l/n)!" Connie quickly said, bowing his head down. Your mother rolled her eyes and flicked him in the forehead. Connie murmured an 'ow' and massaged his forehead.

"Drop the formality, I don't like them. Oh, and if you're one of those guys who insist on using them, it's 'Miss' or 'Ms'." your mother explained, huffing.

"Yes, uh.. what's your name?" Connie asked.

"It's (m/f/n)." your mother answered.

"Yes, (m/f/n)." Connie said.

"Okay well, since it is Mother's Day, I decided to introduce you to Connie, and take you somewhere out to celebrate the day." you said. Your mother turned her head to the side.
