1) Krista will not be in the top ten. It doesn't matter anyways, because Krista ends up in the Survey Corps. Yeah, it can impact the relationship between Krista and Ymir but who cares it's cANON.

2) The tower I'm mentioning is the one where Marco and Eren are at in the third OVA of AOT.

That was how it always was between Jean and [f/n]. Even since the beginning their eyes crossed paths between one another, [f/n] wouldn't even hesitate to reject Kirstein. There was even a moment when Jean bribed her to go on a date with him and as tempting as it sounded, she still refused and walked away from his miserable self.

Jean didn't know what was wrong with him, he thought he already laid down his perfect traits to attract a girl, but maybe not. After the situation with Mikasa, his pride really did fall down a cliff and broke its legs. This time however, he was determined to make [f/n] his, he didn't want a gem to be lost within stones.

[f/n] was off trying to finalize her exams so Keith could evaluate her skills. She wanted to join the Garrison with her mom, as she never got to visit her as often and would love to be with her again (authors note when was the last time you read a one shot where the reader wanted to be in the garrison lol bc i have never read one). Even though the Garrison would be a choice for the top ten and the other members of the Squad, [f/n] wanted to make it in the top ten to show her mother proud of what a daughter she has brought up.

As her blade pierced through a decoy copy of a titan, the blade went through halfway but the cut was wide. That was what put [f/n] off from the others, her cuts weren't that deep but they went really wide to ensure the kill of a titan.

Her maneuver gear shifted her over to another part of the forest to find another titan to cut in when Jean caught up to her from behind. Her head looked past her and saw how Jean was smirking, he was extremely fast when it came to Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear.

"Surprised [f/n]?" he asked, his eyes meeting hers before moving past her.

"Not at all." she replied. Her eyes soon noticed a titan coming up from the ground, and she got into position like Jean did already.

"Back off Kirstein, this is my kill." she told him, a nasty glare fixated at him.

"Say [l/n], if I make it into the top ten, would you go on a date with-"

"No." she said loud and clear before giving up on that titan and went off to search for another one. Jean mumbled to himself in a sad tone before his smirk came back as he got closer and closer to the titan.

"Thanks, Jean!" an arrogant voice from behind him spoke him. He turned over and saw Connie rushing in to the titan instead, trying to get this one before him.

"I knew following you and [f/n] would work!" he indirectly praised the both of you. He readied his blades before another slice from another blade had pierced through the titan. The excited squeal from Sasha could be heard next, shocking the two males before her.
