The Run Away [Farlan x Reader] Part II

"[l/n]! What is your reason for joining the military?" the trainee leader had asked me. I gave him a solemn look and took a short breath.

"I plan to be reunited with someone special in the Survey Corps, sir!" I answered him, with my most serious face displayed bright and mighty.

"Eh? Who's that someone?" the leader questioned, his eyebrows furrowing.

"None of your business, I can tell you that!" I said. The place grew quiet, everyone giving me the strangest looks, why would you tell the trainee leader something like that?

"I see. Maybe it isn't my business, but I will give you the business of doing one hundred laps around the camp. Get started [l/n]!" he yelled at me and walked away about to give the next applicant a good yelling. I sighed and decided to get the laps over with. 

I have already admitted to myself that I was weak, but I absolutely will become stronger for both Farlan and me. The least I can do is one hundred laps, if I'm to weak to even do something like that, how can I ever manage to get to Farlan and be able to be there for him? This determination will guide me through my potential gruesome adventure to the Survey Corps. I have some knowledge of the Survey Corps and everything else, after asking around and reading some books. There were things known as Titans in this world, who eat and devour humans, and no one knows why they do; not like they need to eat us for their survival anyway. I'm not confident to say that I don't have the slightest fear for these dangerous beasts, but my main concern is Farlan.

"Congratulations [f/n] [l/n] for making it into the top ten at number one!" the leader had honored me, everyone clapped their hands to praise me for my hard efforts. I had finally done it.

I became strong.

I had spent so much time doing continuous training, sweating my butt off and aching with fatigue, but those efforts were worth it.

Farlan, I'm coming to see you soon.

We haven't had any chat with each other in such a long while, he hasn't sent anything back to me, well, if he did I wouldn't have gotten it. Farlan doesn't know that I have been in the training grounds for all this time.

My love and passion for Farlan Church goes beyond my expectations. It scares me, how have I become so attached to this person?

Farlan, I'm coming to see you!!

I'll also get to meet up with Isabel and Levi, my heart is getting warmed up just thinking about this reunion that I have been planning for such a long time.

The Survey Corps is weird.

The atmosphere is a lot moodier and dimmer than when I spent time at the training grounds. My eyes went around the place, observing.

"Miss [l/n], you will be assigned to a Squad Leader soon. They will be in charge of you." Erwin Smith; the guy who I had met before those three had left, said to me. I nodded and Erwin gave me a soft smile.

"Its been a while, [f/n], you have definitely grown a lot more beautiful and strong." Erwin complimented me. I shrugged.

"Beautiful? Maybe. Strong? Thank you." I spoke softly and patiently waited to be assigned a Squad Leader.
