In the eye of the cyclone there was silence until the first lightning bolt emerged from the darkness of the first universe, and its voice was the first thunder that resounded to the depths of the abyss. That lightning had a name, Lucifer. It was the first light that broke the darkness of that time, and he was then, the first lightning bolt, the bearer of light, the first spark of consciousness. In the beginning of time, he was a noble and righteous heavenly creature, a servant son of God, the firstborn, the right hand of his father, the most beautiful and powerful angel, he was the masterpiece of his creator. Lucifer met the depths of God's knowledge like no other angel. He was the first star that shone on the first night of creation, being nicknamed: "The morning star".
He enjoyed explaining about his existence, it was pleasant to listen to him because he was a kind being who worshiped god and possessed positive feelings that he would often share, as well as a desire to spread goodness. Among the angels there were hierarchies, and Lucifer came from the highest rank of those who offered the sacrifice of praise. His goodness and his authority were deserved for being honored, the omnipotence of God was reflected in him."Inferior, only to God."
There was something that the other angels did not know, and that was that Lucifer had conversations with his father in private. God warned him not to be carried away by worldly thoughts, not that he thought of sins, but he was scattered, his own intellectual projects and the communication with other angels took up more time than it should have taken with his creator.
But make no mistake, he hadn't even committed a sin, but inadvertently his psychology was changing. In Lucifer there were purposes and relapses into lukewarmness, moments in which he said to himself with all his might, "I must love more the one who has given me everything", followed by longer and longer periods, in which he considered that his projects were so important that he had to sacrifice (much to his regret) those purposes. His father watched him in silence, until he found himself between two possibilities: Offer him a divine test despite Lucifer's hidden internal weaknesses, or take away his power, despite never having been unfaithful. God chose to go ahead with the test, it was the wisest decision.Lucifer, in the middle of one of his projects, sailing in his power of knowledge, his wisdom in theology, discovered something about a new creation of God. He was able to see and feel things that only he could understand up to this point, as there was no angel who understood this divine power and what it entailed to possess it. Lucifer then felt death, murder, chaos, war, abuse, rape, insolence, and ignorance... Why would a creation of the most powerful and benign being have such a nature? It was difficult to understand, it couldn't be possible, for the first time, Lucifer would consider himself wrong, there is no way that such a fact is true, God would never create destruction and then order the angels to worship it, it was against angelical principles.
The moment of revelation arrived, there was silence in heaven, and God spoke in a solemn way revealing that one day he would create a material universe, and humanity. Lucifer's reaction to this announcement got him confused, he needed to be wrong about his feelings, he didn't want to believe that God's plan had such a terrible purpose
-You have worshiped me as God, but now I order something more difficult, worship me as a man- Said The Sphere (Nickname given by the angels to God).
It was revealed to them what it was like to be a human. God made man was going to eat, drink, sleep, and if he got hurt then he would bleed. The most sublime was then reduced to a mass of bloody flesh struggling to breathe. Many angels distrusted and questioned God's plan, in fact, for Samael these words were sharp daggers, he did not understand how a simple mortal would get something that not even he possessed, moreover, he considered himself a superior being, so worshiping an inferior being was unthinkable, therefore he exclaimed: "May he better worship me."
The archangel Michael told him that he should follow the plan of God, since he was the only powerful being capable of ending the creation itself, and he would have no mercy when extinguishing everything, and Samael replied -I will look for a star in the sky, and I will make it my throne-.
Some angels looked at Lucifer. His look was an anxious question.
"Why don't you kneel down?".
The silence and the prince's gaze caused a restlessness in many, more and more surprised angels looked at the morning star, how could he not kneel down?
Lucifer's immobility was enigmatic as a bottomless pit, his lips sealed by silence, his stony features. The prince's face was expressionless, a serious sphinx with narrowed eyes. He slowly opened his lips and exclaimed:"No."
He pronounced this word in a serious and resounding way without any anger, he pronounced it like a king from his throne. The angels they could not believe what they had heard, something had happened, there must be some explanation, Lucifer, the theologian, the wise angel, looked at the rest of the spirits and said:
-Don't you realize that this can't be possible?" God cannot ask for nonsense, it is not you who must be forced to accept the unacceptable, it is God who has done something wrong-.
At the rebellious speech of Lucifer, the mass of listeners had been stunned, and then, in the midst of the stupor that went through all heaven at that first speech, his resounding affirmation was heard like a thunder, it was like a scream that woke everyone up. His exclamation had more logic than the order just raised by The Sphere. Then Michael planted himself right in front of his face, and said:
"You're superb."
With Lucifer on top of the throne, no one would have dared to do that, but Michael's words had such conviction that they deeply hurt Lucifer, who turned his back on his brother and left.
He cried for a brief period, in which he thought about what had happened. "I was right" he told himself. God would create chaos and asked the angels not only to accept it but also to worship it. The so-called "humanity" will possess a strong and powerful negative energy, so powerful as to destroy the existence of the angels themselves, -I knew the truth, and I have underestimated my power- he repeated to himself. Lucifer had to do something, he had to protect the heaven. He adored his father, but God's plan was cruel. To allow The Sphere to carry out this plan was to condemn the heavens and all the spirits that lived there.
Then Lucifer came back. Some looked at him with admiration as soon as he appeared. He followed his reasoning, he spoke like a teacher, he had security in his voice, he offered arguments, but inside, there was resentment, although there was no revelation of that secret bitterness. Crowds immediately decided to stop listening to the rebel, they turned their backs on Lucifer and watched the revelation of the man, recognizing him as the future king. More angels were still kneeling, but at a much slower rythm. There were so many trillions of spirits that at that rythm it would take centuries for everyone to kneel, but it was as if that echo of Lucifer had made everyone think things over. Then God spoke, and marked the successes and failures of all the spirits present. He spoke to them about good and evil, but also about justice, truth, right and wrong, what is perfect and what is not, of the hope, of the joys of heaven, he explained to them what the life of the spirits was, but also of the interior death of the spirits. There was the sensation that it was about to begin a long discussion among the wisest of the spirits, with the entire angelical world as a spectator. The mystery of the incarnation was not the whole point, Lucifer would later reveal the story that would corrupt men, those finite, ungrateful beings were going to reveal themselves, not only would they not be eternally grateful to them, but they were going to kill them. It seemed absurd, that someone gives you the ultimate proof of love and you respond with hate, those weren't human, they were beasts.
Suddenly the world of logic had collapsed; "We were supposed to worship a crucified God, we, glorious beings, kneel before that bloody body suffering to the limit?" said Semyazza. It was disconcerting in itself to praise the sacrifice of a brother, a son of The Sphere. More and more angels said "Lucifer is right", God couldn't ask for something contrary to logic. In any case, the dagger had been plunged into many minds. If God asks for the wrong thing, then he is no longer God. Lucifer's reasons were engraved in the intelligences of the angels. Numerous entities came to the defense of obedience to God, but Lucifer's speech was hard as iron and sharp as a sword. As their reasoning progressed, several realized how poisonous the father's requests were and protested with all the energy of his own divinity. They questioned the slavery to which God has subjected them for an eternity, and now, Lucifer and his rebels would demand the freedom that was taken from them since the beginning of time.
The war had started.
