"What? Kingsley, I don't have time for this!" I argued down the phone which was rested between my ear and my shoulder, as I hopped around my room trying to pull my socks on. I was late, again. Monday mornings never agreed with me.

"Chloe, I need you to be careful with this! Anything could have happened to you at that club" he said.  I'd just updated him on Friday night's events.

"Yeah, well I'm okay now, so it's irrelevant" I said, not at all in the mood for his lecturing.

"You're letting that boy have too much control over you. Snap out of it, you're not a lovestruck teen anymore, you need to do your job. You don't have time for him, once you've finished the job, you'll have to leave him. So hurry up and find out the information we need, don't forget the reason you're really with him. No distractions" and with that, he hung up. I sighed and collapsed back onto my bed in a sulk, just thinking for a moment. Was I really acting like a lovestruck teen? I didn't think so, but... I wasn't being as seductive and crazy-up-for-anything as I usually was during this job. I couldn't let mine and Aston's past get in the way of this.

"Morning Chloe" Oritsé smiled as I walked into the lift behind him. We often bumped into each other in the morning, we arrived at a similar time.

"Morning" I half smiled.

"You alright?" he asked, a concerned look on his face.

"Yeah, just one of those days" I sighed.

"At 9am?" he chuckled slightly.

"Yeah, I guess I just woke up in a bad mood" I shrugged.

I had a lot to think about today.

"You alright babe?" Aston asked, skipping into my office later that day.

"Yep, I'm good thanks" I smiled.

"You sure? Reesh said you seemed a bit down this morning" he pushed.

"Yeah, I'm fine now though" I assured him.

"Good. You wanna go grab something to eat?" he asked. I checked my watch.

"Sure, my break starts in 10 minutes" I smiled.

"Okay, I'll wait here then" he said, sitting on the chair which lived in the corner of my office.

Within a couple of minutes, I could tell he was 110% bored. He was sat picking at  the wood around the frame of the chair, as I typed away on my laptop.

"Come on" I tutted, getting up and grabbing my bag.

"Huh? Is that 10 minutes already?" he asked.

"No, but you're distracting me. Come on" I said, grabbing his arm and dragging him out of the office.

"God, I'm starving" Aston said, as he tucked into his pasta. We'd ended up in a small bistro around the corner from the office.

"Is there ever a time when you aren't hungry?" I smirked.

"Oi!" he said with his mouth full of food, making me laugh.

"Sorry" I smiled.

"You know.. I'm glad you came back" he said, taking another mouthful.

"What do you mean?" I questioned.

"You.. I'm glad you returned to my life. I missed you" he smiled.

"Aw. I'm glad to be back" I grinned, placing my hand over his which rested on the table. We stared into each others eyes for a while, just smiling, until things got a little awkward.

"So, um.. How's work going for you?" Aston asked, changing the subject, moving his hand from under mine at the same time.

"Oh, yeah, I think I've pretty much settled in now" I half smiled, a little disheartened that he'd moved his hand.

"Oh man, we need to do something again soon, just us two" Aston chuckled as we made our way back to work.

"I know" I smiled.

"Are you free this weekend?" he asked.

"Um.. I think so" I said.

"Right, this weekend, we'll do something" he winked.

"Deal" I said, high fiving him, before making my way back to my office.

Let's see what would happen.

Ok guys, I know I'm slacking with this story, but I never seem to be in the mood to write :| With my last story, it didn't really have a main plot, it was just DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA.. And writing dramatic parts is really fun, but filler parts like this.. Not so much :p But I'm still gonna hold back and make you all wait for the interesting bit! ;D

But anyways, thanks for reading! Please vote, comment and fan me :) xo
