*Aston's POV*
I couldn't believe it.. She was back, after all these years. I thought I'd never see her again. I told myself I never wanted to see her again.. But I didn't quite believe myself.
Waking up in the morning, I put the kettle on before heading outside to the front gate to collect the mail. Flicking through, at a first glance thinking they were all bills, but then one caught my eye; it wasn't in printed letters, in was written in handwriting. The handwriting seemed familiar to me. I carried my letters inside, placing them down on my kitchen table whilst I prepared breakfast.
Tucking into a bowl of cereal, I stared at the letter, trying to work out where I recognized the handwriting from. I picked it up and opened the tab, pulling out a piece of lined paper. I opened it up, and started reading.
Ast, its me again.. Chloe. Please, just listen to what I have to say.
I know we left on a very bad note, and I can't even begin to explain to you how sorry I am. You have every right to hate me, and I'm not asking you to change your opinions.. I just want us to be civil about this, please.. If we're gonna be working together, we can't be like this with each other. I don't want this awkwardness. I'm not expecting things to go back to how they used to be, and I'm not asking you to forget what happened.. I just want us to be okay with each other while we're at work. You can go home and have as much hatred towards me as you want, but while we're at work, I want you to see me as a colleague, not as an enemy. Please?

I sat and thought everything over in my head. She kinda had a point.. She'd seen things from my point of view, and helped me see things from her own. I guess I'd give it ago when I saw her again today.
