Trigger warning - mention of rape
SIX YEARS LATER
Daemon and Verena lived in their little bubble on Dragonstone happily for six years.
Verena had been through three more pregnancies and she was currently pregnant as well.
Two sons and one daughter.
The boys were named,
Aenar Targaryen, Rhaegar Targaryen and Vaella Targaryen.
Verena loved all of her children.
Daemon relished in the way his children looked so much like their mother.Rhaenyra and Harwin lived happily on dragonstone as well.
She had two more children,
Aegon Targaryen and Viserys Targaryen.
She was also pregnant at the same time as Verena.
She was right about her sons coming out with silver hair.
Both of her boys looked exactly like her.Maelor had grown into a man of ten and six and Athena was now ten and four. Aenar was six, Rhaegar was three and Vaella was a mere babe at one years old.
Athena grew more curious and kind as she aged.
She loved Daemon more than anyone as he spent time with her unlike her actual birth father.
The children missed their father but Daemon filled the void they had.
He never treated them different.
They were his children as well.Daemon Targaryen was born to be a girl father.
He loved his girls more than anything.
When Vaella was born he cried just seeing her.Maelor was always more reserved and loved his mother more than anyone.
He held onto his mother tight never wanting to let go and Verena never wanted to either.
Her children were the light of her life just as Daemon was.Verena was about two months pregnant.
She thought she would hate childbirth.
The first scared her more than anything.
The thought of dying to the same fate that killed her mother scared her.
But the moment Maelor was born and placed on her,
she could feel the deepest love for her child.
And that was not different for every other children she bore.
