When Lord Corlys asked where Daemon was,
Verena knew he was on his way to find more dragons.
Daemon walked down the hall singing in the old
Valyrian tongue coaxing a dragon of the darkness.
Vermithor.
His father's dragon.
He continued singing as Vermithor opened its mouth
and fire illuminated his enormous presence.
He sniffed and looked forward at Daemon who kept his eyes firmly on
the dragon who was inspecting him.
They stood their eyes meeting each other
Vermithor accepted the Targaryen blood.

Maelor and Luke made it to Storms End in the billowing wind and rain.
They dismounted Arrax when they look up and saw massive Vhagar roar in the wind.
Maelor and Luke felt fear rush through them.
Arrax shook seeing Vhagar.
Maelor shook his head nodding at Luke as they continued
wanting to please their mothers and queen.
Maelor stood walking behind Lucerys and to where Borros was sitting.
Maelor's heart dropped when he saw Aemond creepily staring at the two boys.
Luke weirded out shakes of Aemond's stare and states after being announced.

"Lord Borros... I brought you a message from my mother... the Queen."

Maelor stood with his head held high while Borros laughed and replied ridiculously,

"Yet earlier this day, I received an envoy from the King.
Which is it?
King or Queen? The House of the Dragon does not seem to know who rules it."

He laughed and continued,

"What's your mother's message
Where's the bloody maester?"

Anger filled the Baratheon's body.
He did not like Rhaenyra using his oath against him.

""Remind" me of my father's oath. King Aegon at least came with an offer: my swords and banners for a marriage pact. If I do as your mother bids... which one of my daughters will you wed... boy?"

Lucerys spoke strongly,

"My lord... I am not free to marry. I'm already betrothed."

Maelor stepped forward,

"I am not a prince but if you would be willing to betroth one of your daughters to me..."

Borros laughed at this exchange,

"So you come with empty hands.
Go home, pup.
And tell your mother that the Lord of Storm's End is not some dog that she can whistle up at need to set against her foes."
