Aemond snuck out of his chambers and went to claim Vhagar.
He was sick of being told he was not a dragon or just being made fun of in general.
They were going to regret it.
Aemond stood valiantly in front of Vhagar and did not back down.
After a show of bravery and barely hanging on while flying,
Vhagar accepted him.
Aemond was now the rider of the largest and oldest dragon.
This was an insult to Laena's memory,
and to her daughters.

Rhaena and Baela woke up Jace, Luke and Maelor to tell them that Vhagar was gone.
That someone had stolen him.

They went to investigate finding Aemond.
Maelor stood protectively in front of Luke and questioned,

"Jace, what are we doing?"

Baela scowled looking at Aemond walking into the cave,

"It's him."

Aemond smirked feeling a new found arrogance,

"It's me."

Baela was heartbroken as she spoke,

"Vhagar is my mother's dragon."

"Your mother's dead. And Vhagar has a new rider now."

Aemond with no shame spoke viciously.
Rhaena looked taken aback.

"She was mine to claim."

"Then you should've claimed her! Maybe your cousins can find you a pig to ride. It would suit you."

Suddenly Rhaena ran at Aemond throwing a punch,
Aemond pushed her back into the ground as Maelor ran forward pushing him backwards.
Aemond yelled,

"Come at me again and I'll feed you to my dragon!"

The fight went on as Jace and Luke continued to fight Aemond, Maelor stayed back with the girls keeping them safe.
Aemond screamed again,

"You will die screaming in flames.
Bastards."

Luke innocently spoke with slight tears in his eyes,

"My father's still alive."

"He doesn't know, does he,
Lord Strong?"

This was the last straw as Aemond held up a rock at Luke and Maelor and Jace quickly threw sand in his eyes as Luke ran up and slashed Aemond's eye.

"Luke!"

Baela and Rhaena screamed as
Jace, Luke and Maelor realised what they had done.
