Cheyenne, Kirby, and the Forgotten Land

Chapter 8: Not The King We Know and Elfilin Captured!

(with Kirby wielding his Bomb ability, he and the other heroes go back to the same castle from before, encountering Dedede again)

Cheyenne: Dedede! This stops now!

Dedede: Oh yeah? How about this?! (he slams his hammer to the ground again, but this time, the battle truly began, with Kirby throwing a bomb at him)

Daphne: What has this Beast Pack done to him?! He's the ruler of Popstar!

Cheyenne: Not anymore! He gave us that pendant that made us the Heroines, and now he called us the "so-called" ones?! That's pretty much brainwashing right there!

Dedede: Get back here, ladies! You are both mashing for a smashing!

Cheyenne: (then gets mad and gets out her Hammer ability) No we're not! YOU are! (she hits the king in the head with her hammer, causing him to attack back by throwing her to the ground) AHHH!!!

Daphne: CHEYENNE! Are you okay?!

Cheyenne: (coughing a little as she tries to get up and is weak by Dedede's attack) Yes... I'm... Fine... (she coughs again, then gets back up, dusting her shorts, and slams her hammer on him again. As he dropped his hammer, Dedede then gets mad and grabs a pillar from the castle)

Amanda: What the-?! A pillar as his weapon?! We're just good as dead! (he is about to slam the pillar, ready to attack all the heroes, but they dodged it when he does. Then, with the star on her right eye, Amanda picks up another one with telekinesis, and slams the king's head with it, causing him to feel heavily damaged on the head) That's for calling us "so-called Heroines"!

Daphne: Well, Amanda might be stressful, but she is helpful! Thanks Amanda!

Amanda: No probs Daphs!

Cheyenne: (sees the king open to be defeated, then gets an idea. She turns to her son, who still has his Bomb ability) Kirby!

Kirby: (notices his mom calling to him) Huh?

Cheyenne: Now's your chance! Deliver the finishing blow, now!

Kirby: Okay then, mommy! (he throws one last bomb at Dedede, causing him to fall to the ground, now defeated. All the Waddle Dees that were still trapped were calling out to them, and Cheyenne and the others free them. They did their victory dance, before Dedede awakens and traps Elfilin in a cage)

Elfilin: Gah!

Cheyenne and the other Heroines: ELFILIN!

Dedede: Sorry for doing that ladies, but if you're going to be like those "so called 'Heroines'", I'll be taking this from you because he's an invention that escaped and was supposed to stay at Lab Discovera!

Kirby: L-Lab D-Discovera?! 

Dedede: Yes, you foolish puffball! He's coming with us to complete an experiment, so say goodbye to him now! (Elfilin, now in a cage, looked sadly at Kirby, as he looked back sadly, then, the crows take Elfilin away from the others) 

Elfilin: Cheyenne?! Daphne?! KIRBY!!! 

Kirby: ELFILIN!!! No, no, no, (starts crying) NO! (then, Dedede and Elfilin were gone, and Kirby looked on in horror and tears. Then, when everyone came back to Waddle Dee Town via Warp Star, Kirby runs back to his house, crying hysterically)

Cheyenne: Kirby? (hugs her son) Hey, it's okay-

Kirby: NO IT'S NOT!!! (Cheyenne looked shocked) First my brother, now Elfilin?! Now with him gone, we're on our own!

Daphne: Kirby! Hey, all we have to do is save him and -boom!- problem solved! We may have went there too, but that's true!

Kirby: (starts getting angry) Do any of you even have the right to say that to me?! You guys didn't know him like I did! In fact...

NEITHER OF YOU HARDLY EVEN KNEW HIM AT ALL!!!

(everyone gasped as Cheyenne couldn't believe that her own son would say this to his own mother. Then, Kirby started crying again)

Kirby: I can't believe this... First my brother, now him? (he runs to his bed while still crying, only this time, he's crying the Rainbow Tears again) Elfilin... No...

(feeling bad for the pink puffball, Sydney gives Kirby her pink teddy bear 'Kirby Jr.')

Sydney: Don't cry, Kirbs. Here, you can sleep with 'Kirby Jr.' for tonight.

Kirby: (sniffles a little) Thank you, Sydney...

(he then goes back to crying before memories of the adventure with Elfilin around and with the heroes start to play. They were the most precious memories during the adventure... They range from him saving and meeting Elfilin for the first time, the two walking towards the grassy fields of the Forgotten Land, them having a nap at the beach, the picture Daphne took for their cutout photo shoot, them meeting Sydney for the first time, before it cuts to him being captured by Dedede as Kirby cries for Elfilin. Those flashbacks end with Kirby crying, sad about being separated from Elfilin) Elfilin... (Cheyenne then felt bad for her son as she is in tears, not because of how her own son treated her, but the fact that Elfilin was gone)
