CARSYN MARIE WALSH and her twin brother CRISTOPHER MATHHEW WALSH were popped out of the womb at exactly eight minutes apart on april 20, 1989 on a brisk morning. ever since that day the two have been almost inseparable. except for when they'd bicker over who got to play with which toy first or who got the window seat when they road with lori, rick, and their son carl.

their life wasn't always the easiest. having to be shipped between two houses at the expense of their parents divorce. the couple was never a good match and only happened because shane walsh, their dad, got their mom pregnant at seventeen.

carsyn struggled the most though. her dad wanted her to simply be a boy and he raised her as one too. hence why her name is carsyn. he would always make her into something she wasn't but she loved her father. so much so that she was everything he expected her to be.

she went to college to major in criminal justice to hopefully one day stand by his side and work with him. her twin decided to skip out on the college step and stayed home. leaving her all alone in the big world by herself for the first time.

luckily the walsh girl happened to be in town, visiting her father and brother when the world suddenly became a hazard.

aka when the dead walked and the living had to fight for their lives.

THE SOUND of my brothers voice echoing throughout the house reminded me just how glad i was to be home.

him cursing at me to get up could've been left out... even though we both knew that was the only way to get me up.

i could sleep through a train passing and yet i still thought my alarm clock had a chance.

my lips tugged at the corners, seeing my brother stuff his mouth full with a spoon of cereal. my back leaning up against the doorframe of my bedroom.

chris was born eight minutes before i was. it would've been sooner if i wasn't such a stubborn baby— as my mother always said.
