Peter's POV
"I hope... no one finds out." I think to myself while writing the poem I've been working on for a few days.
"Ah... Don't worry, I'll forget about this and continue to live my life." I tell myself, "I'll be able to hide this feeling and still be okay..." I let out a long sigh, "I just wish I could just throw my worries away in the rain." I mumble as I look out the window; rain.
I let out another sigh, "When will it end?..."
My phone screen lit up; a text notification from my friend, Louisa: "Hey Peter, you haven't been responding to my texts and you've been ignoring me at school lately, are you alright?"
I decided not to respond, I don't have anything to say anyway... The words only linger in my mouth.
Another notification; "Seriously, don't just ignore me like that, did I do something? Can I do something to make up for it?"
I contemplated whether or not to respond to her.
"I'll probably just make her worry if I don't respond, but what would I even tell her?" The more I thought, the more my head started to hurt.
"I'll just say that I'm fine... like always," I say to myself.
I opened my contacts and said, "Sorry, I've been busy lately. I promise you didn't do anything."
"Alright... I'll be here if you need anything."
I sighed and fell onto my bed, "How long can I keep lying to everyone like this?" That was my last thought before I fell asleep.
