Here's a little information about what has happened over the past seasons to catch you up since I'm starting it on the 4th season...

Basically (Y/n)'s dad is Shane and she never really seemed to care that her dad had died because she knew he was a dick and was trying to get everyone killed.
When (Y/n) found out that her dad died Rick promised that he would look after her no matter what since he was guilt-ridden for killing Shane. (Only for his daughter being left alone,not for Shane dying.)

Her and Shane joined the group when it first formed together.Mainly because it didn't look like Shane was leaving Lori and Carl anytime soon.Shane payed more attention to Lori and Carl then he ever did to (Y/n) but she still had hope for her dad being like superman or some shit like that.
Shane turned back to (Y/n) for forgiveness when he wanted to leave the group but he didn't want to leave his "daughter".She didn't forgive him.

When everyone got to the prison and tried adjusting to their new lives it was a little challenging...especially with Lori passing and Judith constantly needing attention in the middle of an apocalypse.Beth helped a ton with that.

Once things were becoming under control Carl and (Y/n) took this as an opportunity to act like normal kids again.Even at the ages of 14.
They would run around and tease the younger kids,sneak around,steal 2 huge tubs of chocolate pudding from the kitchens and all kinds of stupid things.

Of course all of the other things are important from the previous seasons but you can just imagine them if you really have to. <3
