(Y/n)'s POV:

It was the next morning and I was with Rick and Carol.Apparently they were both looking everywhere for me until Carl told them that we had a 'kind-of-sleepover'.

"(Y/n),you need to tell us the truth." Carol sighed and took my hands in hers.
I sat on the sofa,Rick and Carol were crouched down to be eye level with me.
"This is important." Rick said.
They were asking me about Pete and Jessie.

"Has anything weird been going on when you've been at Ron's house?" Rick questioned me.I looked at him.
Carol lightly scoffed and corrected Ricks question. "Has Pete been hitting Jessie?" She asked.
I sat,silent.I knew I should've told them when the incident happened but I didn't want to get anyone hurt. "Yes...I think."
Rick and Carol exchanged a look.
"Tell us what happened."

I hesitated to talk.

"When I was with Ron I just heard yelling,doors slamming and glass breaking.Ron tried sneaking me out but his dad saw us...Pete's whole emotion changed,I couldn't even see Jessie and then Ron pushed me out the door." I explained. "Thanks." Rick looked like he was thinking a lot of things through.

"What did my dad and Carol need you for?" Carl asked me as we both slowly walked around the lake,looking for things to do. "Just something." I sighed and looked at him.He nodded,I knew that he knew something was wrong.

"You heard about Noah,right?" Carl said.It sounded more like a rhetorical question. "What about him?" I furrowed my brows.Carl sighed and looked down at the ground while we continued walking.
"He's gone."
I was confused.When did this happen?
Is that why there was screaming last night? "Oh..." I whispered.
I never really had the chance to speak to Noah.He was either talking with someone else or looking super depressed.That was probably because of Beth though.I'm sure he was a nice guy,even if he wasn't Beth would've changed him,it's what she does.

Looking around Alexandria I noticed a piece of the fence that had been cut out and moved to the side a little.
I started walking over to the fence rather than around the lake.Carl followed me and spoke the whole time. "(Y/n),what are you doing?" He asked.
"Look." I pointed at the obvious hole in the fence. "-how has no one seen this?"
"Someone's out there." Carl said.
"How do you know?" I asked him.

"Well,if they came back they would've put the fence right.Common sense,(Y/n)." Carl scoffed. "Something I lack." I muttered under my breath.

"We should go out there,it's boring in here." I whispered.Carls eyes widened.
"Are you crazy? We don't have any weapons,whoever is out there could be dead and it's safe in here!" Carl whisper-yelled and listed the three on his fingers.
I lifted the hem of my shirt which revealed my knife that was hidden and attached to my belt.Carl sighed and rolled his eyes at me. "We only live once,might as well." I said,which sounded like the most cringiest thing I've ever said.

He must've really thought about it if it was taking him a whole 3 minutes to say something. "Fine...But I'm having the knife." He added.My smile dropped and he stood there with his hand out.
I rolled my eyes and sneakily pulled the knife from my belt and placed it in his hand.

We walked in silence.Carl had the need to walk in front of me since he had the knife,not even going to lie it actually sucked.What if I needed it to kill a walker and he wasn't there? He's a dumbass.

"Walker." I didn't have any emotion to my words.The Walker was not even close,I was just doing it to annoy him for annoying me. "It's nowhere near us." I heard him say.

I span around as soon as I heard a branch snap and a rustling noise.I searched around with my eyes but saw nothing and no one.I brushed it off and turned back around.I had the feeling that someone was watching us and I couldn't get rid of it. "Carl,I think someone's following us." I whispered. "It was probably that Walker back there." He said.
