After the long and tiresome practice, K.N.H.A decided to call it a day and immediately went back home to rest. As they approach the familiar big house, they saw two figures standing in front of it.
A figure of a blonde slimmed-bodied woman and a figure of a masked man with hair-defying gravity, to be exact. Along with the Hawaiian floral designed clothes, the man is also seen wearing a guilty/shamed expression on his face, well eyes since his face is covered.
The two partners in crime proudly carried what seems to be a sack of potatoes and other foreigner presents in their hands. They then put on the fakest smile in the century as the car pulled off and the 4 members got off.
"Hello!!" Ino greeted with a wave while Kakashi could only let out an "Oh my . . . " as he saw the Ravennete's face.
As soon as Sakura spotted the two, she felt her exhaustion from practicing fade away and get replaced by joy and excitement upon seeing them. The pinkette hasn't exactly been in contact with either of them since the day of the supposed revelation to Jiraiya.
"Kakashi-sensei! Ino!" She said and quickly ran in their direction. Her eyes sparkled with joy at the sweet gifts Ino was carrying.
"Saku- Shiro! How have you been?" Kakashi asked the pinkette as he put down the box he was carrying to ruffle her pink locks. Now, the way he smiled earlier to greet them might be fake, but the one he was wearing right now is 100% genuine.
He had grown so attached to her that he couldn't believe what he had just done. That's why he is here. To make up for that mistake.
Sasuke, Shikamaru, and Naruto followed Sakura; the blonde shared the same excitement Sakura has while the other two remained silent or uninterested.
"Kakashi-sensei! You just got back from vacation, ttebayo?!" Naruto jumped up and down like a child and eyed the presents like someone with intentions. His voice feels like it could reach the other end of the earth.
An itch mark formed on Ino's forehead. "It's early in the morning and you're too damn noisy. Here." She handed him a big shopping bag that contains ramen they bought from America, with a scary forced smile. This made Naruto whimper and sulk at the corner.
"Yeah. It was a pretty long break," Kakashi's eyes subconsciously shifted their gaze from the smiling Sakura to the scary deadpanned expression Sasuke looking directly at him, making him shiver in fear. "But we're back now, for you and Shiro!!"
He then fixed his look back to Sakura and focused only on her, his eyes somewhat begging for forgiveness. "Shiro, can I . . . Can I come back now?" He asked nervously.
