RWBY V2 E4: The Dance

General POV

A few weeks after the raid everything had been going to plan for Team MDAY, the students and villains were genuinely believing the team had basically had a Civil War, but this didn't mean the group hadn't informed a few people.

Teams RWBY, JNPR, ISOT, BACH, GEHJ, and BEMD were all informed so that when they were the only ones around they didn't need to act too much, one day RWBY invited MDAY to help with decorations while CFVY, the group assigned to decorate in the first place, was away for a mission.

Ruby: How're you guys holding up?

Missouri: Better than ya think, but god is it tiring.

Doc: Yeah, we're lucky to have breaks like these.

Yang: Aw....does senpai need stress-relief?~

Alex: What would happen if I said yes lil Sun Dragon?~

Just then Ruby bonked both of their heads.

Ruby: Filth!

Missouri: *chuckling while shaking his head* Kids these days, any plans for the dance girls?

Yamato: You already know idiot.

Ruby: Yeah....but what's the point? Blake's been distant from all of us, I doubt she's even going to the dance.

Yang: Trust me lil sis, she's going. Me and senpai will make sure of it.

Alex: Damn right.

Missouri: Well, we just have to keep up our ruse of hating each other. No hard feelings for whatever we say there?

Doc: Yeah, we'll be fine.

Missouri: Good, hopefully our cover doesn't get blown too early.

Suddenly Yamato tensed when she heard a conversation from Cinder to Emerald

Yamato: Shit! Emerald incoming! You 2, fight about something!

Missouri: Uh....why do you always say that overkill doesn't exist?!

Alex: Wha- IT'S AS AMERICAN AS APPLE PIE TO THINK THAT!!!!

Missouri: Apple pie is British!

Missouri and Montana then started arguing about American stuff as Emerald strolled in.

Emerald: Yikes! What's the argument this time?

Ruby: *acting as best as possible* No idea.

Yamato: Just some debate over ideals or something.

Doc: Well, what's new with you Emerald?

Emerald: Oh, Cinder's trying to sleep, she asked me to check where it's coming from.

Yang: Sleep? But it's the middle of the Afternoon.

Emerald: People do that alright. It's not uncommon for people in Mistral and Menagerie to sleep during the afternoon.
