RWBY V3 E1: LET'S BATTLE!!!

General POV

It had been a week since the 'Breach of Vale' incident. The Vytal Festival was now in full swing as the Amity Colosseum floated just above Beacon Academy with airships ferrying teams and the members of the crowd to and from the floating arena.

Doc: Damn! This place is crowded!

Missouri: Yeah, the fact that people are willingly paying to watch 18-21 year olds tear each other apart kinda says a lot about people here.

Alex: Well, people pay to watch war-films and play war games so I don't see much difference here.

Port: First match of the festival is Team RWBY of Beacon against Team BRNZ of Shade.

Oobleck: Scheduled for a 5:00 am fight, but seeing as it is only 4:01 am, check around the fairgrounds for Breakfast and we shall see you later.

Missouri: Are we all stocked up?

Yamato: Me and Missouri better not be carrying your lazy-asses this entire fight!

Alex: Yes, we're all ready to go.

Doc: I'm restocked full of ammo. I think I have enough to shoot down Japan's entire air force in WW2.

Yamato rolled her eyes at that last comment before she walked away, dragging Missouri to find something to eat, as the duo left Doc suddenly held his head in pain, causing Montana to notice.

Alex: You good?

Doc: Yeah, I just.....have a bad feeling about this.

Doc then walked off to find Ruby without any further context leaving a confused Montana behind. Meanwhile Yamato had bought some Breakfast Sandwiches and shared them with Missouri as they restocked some secondary ammunition they had lost during the opening of the Vytal Festival.

Flashback

The Colosseum was floating close to Beacon Academy with a massive ribbon just in front of the main entrance with all the Professors there with a pair of oversized scissors. Down in the lake, BB-63, BB-67, and BB-111 sat watching the livestream while waiting for a cue.

Ozpin: -with all that said, I now announce the Vytal Festival officially....*cuts the ribbon* open!

Missouri: Fire!

The trio's guns roared to life firing star shells while also firing flares with various colors to act like impromptu fireworks.

Flashback end

The pair continued eating as the Festival continued to come to life. Soon they passed by BACH who were bantering with each other.

Thomas: -all I'm saying is that there are more ways of seeing things than black and white.

Duck: And I'm saying that if it isn't my white then I'm refusing to do it.

Percy: Ugh! This is just getting on my nerves now.

Missouri: Hey boys, what're you doing?

Toby: Thomas and Duck are arguing about philosophy and stuff. It's only worse because of Duck's semblance making him dead stubborn.

Missouri just shakes his head in slight amusement.

Yamato: Keep it down will ya? Most of the people here aren't fully awake yet but I don't think they appreciate the amount of noise you're making.
