General POV
Continuing right where last chapter cut itself off, Eugen's limp body fell to the sea below. She landed on a still functioning mass-production ship.
Missouri: "Phew, that's done." he said, wiping his brow of sweat, "Had me on the ropes for a sec......only a second."
Eugen groaned a little in response, the Mass-Production models, now without a master, just stood there motionless, so Missouri turned around and sailed to the other side of the island to see how Lion and the others were doing.
Once he sailed around the wall of ice he made he saw Laffey glaring at Z23, Javelin looked torn, Ayanami was....expressionless, and everyone else was just watching.
Doc: "C'mon kid!" he yelled, "Shoot already!"
Ruby: "C'mon Laffey! You can take her!" she yelled.
Missouri: "What the heck is going on here?" he asked as he pulled up alongside Lion.
Doc: "Oh thank god man!" he yelled, "Those 2 kids are holding us up and they've basically activated the 'someone else's problem' field!"
Missouri: "Nothing we can do 'bout that Doc." he said, "Just have to let the kids beat each other up."
Arizona: "M-Missouri?" she asked.
Missouri noticed that Arizona had stirred and looked slightly shocked at him being here.
Missouri: "Nice to finally meet ya Arizona." he said, nodding politely.
Missouri looked around seeing Shoukaku's air-wing mostly shot down, and Montana going beast mode on Zuikaku, and Enterprise dealing with Shoukaku.
Laffey continued staring Z23 down......until she suddenly let her riggings relax and go into a holding position of sorts.
Z23: "Hey! Vhat are you doing now?!" she yelled.
Laffey: "I'm sleepy so nevermind." she said, turning around to face her allies.
Z23: "Vhat?! NEIN!! YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO DO ZAT!!" she yelled angrily, "QUIT MESSING WITH ME OR YOU'RE GOING TO REGRET IT!!!"
A sheepish chuckle echoed through the fleet before the sound of aircraft was heard as some planes from Shoukaku flew in avoiding flak from Lion and Salem, they were so numerous that not even a Phalanx CIWS would've made much difference.
Missouri: "I got this one." he said.
Ayanami: "Nani?" she said.
Arizona: "What?!" she yelled, "But- Son-!!!"
Doc: "What?" he asked, hearing Arizona's cry.
Missouri used One-for-All again and jumped into the air head-to-head with the Zeros, Kates, and Betty's from Shoukaku. He charged up a Vertical Roundhouse Kick with his left leg before starting the swing with a yell.
Missouri: "ST. LOUIS!!! SMAAAAASSSSHHHHH!!!!" he yelled.
The force of the kick launched a massive wave of air that stopped all the Japanese aircraft before pushing them back and into each other.
