The news of my brother getting married to another girl was quite surprising. I couldn't believe how fast it happened. Anthony never bothered to tell me that his relationship with Zoe was on the rocks and it is quite disturbing if you kind of put it that way.

Tossing and turning in bed was my habit nowadays. I couldn't get enough sleep with all the stress that I am dealing with. The therapist told me that it was probably because I was under a lot of stress with the magazine lately and that there was something that's left undone, an unfinished business you might say.

I tried to rack my brains for what that unfinished business possibly is. Taking my laptop out, I read the emails from my writers and other subordinates just to keep my mind busy and to get it sleepy. It helps but when I get to the office, I won't have anything else to do other than wait for the time or go on roving in the different departments if they're getting their jobs done well. My secretary already noticed this and told me that it would be good for me to take a breather once in a while to clear my head of anything that was disturbing me. I would be glad to go and take a breather only if I knew what was bothering me.

Checking the emails and responding to them, I felt at ease. I sorted them out and organized them into different folders which meant that they came from different departments. As I was about to sign out an email came and it was from an unknown contact.

"Who could this be from?" I asked aloud out of curiosity and frustration. Clicking on the email, I checked the contents and was surprised that it was from the elderly couple that I met at the cemetery earlier.

The email only said: "HAVE YOU CHECKED THE LETTER YET? YOU BETTER READ IT. TIME'S RUNNING."

Creepy. A lot of questions were starting to form at the back of my mind. From the looks of it, they were the kind of couple to just sit inside the house and enjoy a cup of warm hot chocolate and ignore the influence of modern technology but then I was proven wrong. Where they got my email address was a big question to me.

Time's running? Heck what did that mean? Surely this couple just made me lose my desire to sleep. I got my bag and emptied the contents on my bed. Finding the unopened envelope, I tore the end of it to get the letter out. There, I found a handwritten letter by Tim. I was shaking as I opened and started to read the contents.

"To my Lovely Calleigh,

This might come as a surprise for you. I know. You'd be wearing that godsmacked expression on your face. You're probably asking how I planned everything, right? Don't fret, love. Let's just say that I wanted to make sure that you're well taken care of after I'm gone. It's quite hard for  me leave you this way. I myself hated the way things had to be but I'm guessing the Big Guy up there has plans for me and for you too. This is my way of playing with Destiny and if things go the way that I planned them to, then you're good to go.

This letter is just the first of the many to come. I want you to follow these steps. I want you to visit the house that I bought for the both of us on Saturday. I want you to take a tour around the house. I've already asked my Mom to do the preparations for the housekeeping staff to clean it before you go. I want you to live there, not because I, the dead want you to but because it's where I want you to start your life again. You'll be getting the next letter there.

I love you Calleigh. I'll be looking out for you babe.

-Tim"

I looked at the letter with eyes that were filled with tears. I thought that I've let him go already but here he is trying to send things my way that make me want to hold onto him. Instead of love, I felt hate. I wanted to move on with my life without thinking about him. Yes, he holds a special part in me but what he's doing was just unfair.
