When she woke up, JeVonte was awake and staring at her, head resting on his elbow.

"Stop looking at me like that. I know I look a mess."

She tried to swat his face away from looking at her, but he grabbed her arm and moved it.

"You look great."

"Stop lying!

Her hair was still wet from swimming, it was still pulled back in a ponytail, and she had not worn a bonnet to sleep. Face she knew was ashy and makeup free. She felt for the crust in her eyes, lucky there was none. She still moved away from JeVonte staring at her.

"I have morning breath."

"Then I won't kiss you on your mouth." He leaned over and kissed her breast, then a trail up to her neck. "You still smell good. And why I can't get enough of you?"

"Are you a sex addict and you need to tell me?"

"No." He gave her a grin and reached for the condoms on the nightstand. "So you're saying you don't want to go another round?"

"I did not say that."

Morning sex was the best sex and if someone told her otherwise, they were a lie. JeVonte was a madman in the morning. Like he was harder and could go longer and she had multiple orgasms before he had his.

Satisfied, he lay back in the bed, arm over his forehead, taking some deep breaths. She cuddled under his arm, even if he was slightly sweaty and smelly.

"Are we going to stay in bed all day?"

"Baby yes," he said, "I mean unless you have something to do."

She wrapped her arm around his waist and held him. He pulled his arm down and put it around her. They lay there for a moment.

"My last girlfriend," he said after a pause. "She was only using me. She wanted to take whatever I had, just take, take, take. And then, I was only a pretty face to her. She liked to show me off around town like that's all I was to her. She never wanted to get to know me."

Oh, he was going there with her now. She said nothing, only listened. He wanted a friend now, or a therapist... breaking her rules. This was supposed to be just playtime.

"Probably my fault I fell for her so hard and fast. I started to think that's all I was to women, a pretty face. No woman staying around longer to get to know me."

"How long did it last?"

"Only six months."

Damm that was nothing, she thought. She was with Allistar for over three years. That was her only and longest relationship. Everything else had been just hookups.

"I'm telling you because I want you to get to know me. The real me."

"I don't date at all," she said to him.

"What do you mean? You don't go on dates with guys?"

"No. I mean, yes. I don't have boyfriends. I just meet guys and we...you know, just sex. If you think I'm a bad person because of that-"

He squeezed her in his arms. "No. I don't think that. You want to protect your feelings. You don't have to do that with me. Tell me everything."

Could she break her own rule? Hit it and quit it! Rule number eleven and it was important. Once she got the dick, and verified it was good, there was no need to get emotionally attached. Keep it at sex, not make a relationship out of it.

"Keep it moving!" she called to herself, but somehow the way JeVonte looked at her she was willing to risk it all.

"My high school boyfriend cheated on me with a so call friend." She had gone where she had never done before with a guy. "He went off to college, I was still a senior, and well...he married her or something."
