07 ─ BREAK HIS BONES

──────── 𓆩♡𓆪

YOU hung up on the doctors.

Good news had come, and bad news as well.

The good news is, you passed your exams with the highest marks!

The bad news is that your parents passed, and your siblings are still missing. The police aren't taking you seriously, and you have no family members to rely on, as you have no contact with them.

So much was going on in your mind, but you knew damn well that if you dropped everything to rest for the day, you'd be even more depressed.

With a stoic expression and a blank face, you stood in your closet, shrugging on a gray plaid jacket over a white shirt─ with the shortest sleeves known to man─ along with gray plaid pants to match.

"Wait, you're going out with the Kawatas?"

"Wait, you're going out with the Kawatas?"

"Yeah, wanna come with?"

Takemichi eyed you up and down with furrowed brows and spoke slowly. "When are your parents coming back, again?"

"We're alone until we're not."

"Y/N, I'm sure something happened. I just want you to be honest with me," he said.

His words stopped you as a whole. It was like even the world stopped moving.

"I overheard," he said gently. "You're mourning."

"They're not dead," you snapped. "My siblings are fine."

"But your parents─"

"They don't matter to me, they never liked me anyway. Now change the subject; do you want to come or not? I'm treating them at a high-end restaurant that just opened."

He hesitated but gave in.

"On your bike?" He said with doubt. "That you pedal? Isn't that place too far?"

"You think I'm driving? I have a chauffeur, Hana," you deadpanned.

"I─ not all people have these things, okay?!"

"You're too loud! Do you wanna come or not?!"

"Fine, I'll stay!"

"Jesus Christ."

"Here we are, ma'am."

You didn't say a word to your driver. You knew he was staring at you with pity as you walked towards the two very noticeable siblings waiting for you in front of the restaurant.

They do have unique hair colors... at least their text was right about that, she sighed. Their choice of clothing isn't bad, either─ it wasn't exactly fit for such a fancy restaurant, but you didn't care. All you cared about was the fact that they were matching, and that brought your mind to think about your missing siblings. *
