29 ─ BLOODLUSTY, AIN'T HE?

"Obviously I didn't know, she was my first time."

"SO you're the one who killed her," Ran mused, toying with one of his braids. "Why didn't you tell me? I would've helped."

"I know you would've, but I... I really wanted to get revenge to the fullest," you sighed blissfully. "It was very, very satisfying. Wasn't it, Hana?"

'Michael' lowered his mask, revealing a smile. "Indeed it was."

"On top of that," you took the seat at the end of the table with a clear view of your guests. "My mom was the same person who orchestrated Kakucho's parents' death. She didn't want me having friends as 'heir to the throne'."

"Ugh," Izana rolled his eyes.

"Seriously!" You laughed at his reaction. "That's exactly how I reacted to that thing. She acted all cool, too."

You continued on your stories, apologizing between portions of your words because you truly felt bad for ghosting them. Some of them forgave you, some of them didn't care, but the others... didn't.

Those being Izana, Mikey, and surprisingly, Mitsuya.

Although you gave the vibe of a girl or boy that can't read the room, you were still able to. You just didn't care.

You understood how they felt, but comforting people with words just isn't your thing. You'd mess up and fail if that were ever the case.

"Then Kaku burned the cabin," you finished. "And we roasted marshmallows above it."

"No way," Mochi chuckled. "Bloodlusty, you lot."

"Yes way! The smores we made were delicious, by the way. I should've invited you..."

"Yeah, you should've," Mikey's snide remark didn't affect you, but it did affect Takemichi, standing stiff at your side, and Kakucho, sighing heavily at your other side.

"Kakucho," Izana suddenly spoke. "I don't appreciate you leaving me like that."

"...'m sorry," he said. "If I returned during the murder of M/N L/N, people would've suspected me."

"How?"

"We left before L/N died, and came back after she died. We'd all be suspected of the murder because we don't have a firm alibi of where we were that day. We can't prove our innocence, and if we've returned, it would've dragged all of you down, too."

"But," Takemichi added. "We're here now, aren't we? That's in the past, now."

"But you still left without a warning," Mikey snapped. "We thought you abandoned Toman."

"I only followed Y/N for revenge and it led to this. Nothing more," he waved his hand. "If I had known that her remaining men would retaliate, I wouldn't even agree to her murder. But I didn't," he sighed. "It was certainly a hassle."

"Especially the clean-up after," you sighed with him. "Their bodies were heavy 'n fat 'n... oily," you shuddered. "Disgusting."

"What would you expect of a dead body?" Rindou commented.

"Obviously I didn't know, she was my first time," you mumbled. "Do you?"

"Ran did it," he instantly pointed.

"You told me to." Ran raised his hands in mock surrender.

"All I did was say I hated him."

You wanted to watch them bicker, but you saw Mikey and Izana exchange glances and leave the room, and before they stepped out, both of them gave you a look.

Takemichi pinched your arm lightly, and you shrugged him off. You'll follow later. Make it less suspicious.

"Hana," you hummed after a few minutes of listening to your old friends talk like nothing had happened. "Could you bring the information files from my office? It's in the drawer with the password."

"I dunno the password," he lied.

Thank you, you thought at him and he seemed to understand.

"M'kay. I'll be back," you stood from your seat and left the room, and no one really thought much of it.

There, in your office, was Izana perched on your desk, and Mikey on your swivel seat.

"So? What did you wanna say?" You asked, moving to your desk to get the files you needed to get. That wasn't just an excuse to leave the room─ you called the Kanto Manji Gang to discuss an alliance so you could finally stick with them from then on.

But the files weren't there.

They were in Izana's hands.

"Name: Levvy "Leviathan" Kuzushi, Age: Thirty-five, Sex: Male," he raised his brow. "Isn't this the basic information of Kanto's rival?"

"Indeed it is," you pulled over a chair and sat in front of your own desk. "I hope it's enough to make up for my absence."

"Mm," Mikey shook his head. "Nope."

"Hm?"

"Not enough."

Your heart dropped.

"Then what should I do?"

Izana's brows rose and he leaned in to whisper in Mikey's ear, all while the both of them were staring straight at you.
