IT'S been weeks since Mikey and the rest of Toman had seen Takemichi, and when he mentioned this problem to his family, Izana said Kakucho and Y/N had went missing, too.

"What do I do?" He asked solemnly, dark black eyes lowered in worry. "They just... disappeared."

"Ever since Y/N came around last year, weird things have been happening," Emma spoke.

"Don't say that," Izana said sharply, and Emma huffed and looked away.

"They're all sixteen, now," Shinichiro sighed. "Aren't they around the same age?"

"Kakucho never told me his birthday," Izana added. "But I guess around this time he would technically be sixteen."

Mikey, who was seventeen, was going through a crisis.

Where the hell did the three of them go...?

Knock knock knock!

"Mikey! Lemme in, would ya?"

"...Y/N?"

Shinichiro was the one who opened the door, and their hearts and jaws nearly dropped at the sight of Y/N, checking their watch impatiently.

"Heya."

Emma stood up and started to leave the room. Mikey couldn't understand what her problem was, but he shrugged it off.

"Y/N! Where's Takemichi?"

"Yeah, um... that's what I'm here to talk to you guys about. Takemichi wanted to text you, but he felt like this was too important to be talked about through an app," They sighed. "May I come in?"

Shinichiro stepped aside in a silent "yes," and her clogs thonked on the floor as she closed the door.

Her clothes were all black; black shirt and flared pants, holding a leather jacket─ and Mikey had a stinging feeling that this wasn't good news.

"I'm sorry to inform you," they said, and everyone listened (even Emma). "That Hinata Tachibana has died."

And Emma was devastated.

"She died of a murder, and the police..." Y/N gripped their jacket. "...they ruled it off as a suicide."

"You!" Emma cried and charged at Y/N.

Confused, Mikey could only watch.

Hinata's... dead...?

He was oblivious to his surroundings─ he was confused. Izana held Emma back, and Shinichiro stood in front of Y/N, trying to calm his sister down, and Y/N just looked down at their shoes.

"Y/N," Mikey cut through the commotion with his voice. "Why does Emma suspect it was you?"

"Huh?" They tilted their head.

His heart skipped a beat, but not in a good way.

"Did you kill Hinata?"

"Why the hell would you think I'd─?!"

"It's a yes or no question."

They exhaled heavily, obviously aggravated.

"No. I didn't kill his girlfriend."
