𝙵𝚛𝚘𝚜𝚝

There were two Kingdoms, Glow and Frost

The glow were known as fire, frost as ice

Enemies were equal power who never lost

Always at battlefield, were never at peace

Met the other only during wars and talks

This had been going on since centuries

Kept an eye on each other like hawks

Even compared each other's treasuries

All this changed when the Prince of Fire

Fell in love deeply and began to admire

The Ice princess who was said to be colder

Than any female royal till now and bolder

The first encounter was at a negotiation

In Frost Kingdom, it didn't really go well

That day, the princess caught his vision

And in a deep ocean called love he fell

Courage and beauty were out the world

Caught his eye while speaking fearlessly

Dazed, he got lost in fantasy dreamworld

Wanted her to be by his side, certainly

Approached her in the ball held later

But couldn't even get a word from her

She wasn't willing to even look at him

Heart, filled with hatred for fire to brim

Her mother, had lost life protecting her

When she was a ten, from a secret invader

He revealed was just following an order

Glow's command lead him to attack her

The princess's soul lost its color that day

Her precious mother had been taken away

Since that day, her heart had been frozen

Hatred towards Glow was the only emotion

Prince was in shock when he knew this 

From a friend he had made in her maids

Felt in this story something was at miss

Went to seek help from his close aides

On an investigation it was discovered

Fire hadn't sent anyone for this to ice

True reason had actually been covered

The people of Glow then had to pay price

Talked, convinced the princess about it

Showed all the evidence he collected

She started to believe his side now a bit

Tried to question the ones she suspected

A month of questioning revealed answer

A frost had done this, truth out by now

He was working for the royal commander

Loyal, on getting caught he blamed Glow

The princess felt like her world fell apart

After knowing the hidden truth behind this

Had admired commander for his loyal heart

Not found herself trapped in a dark abyss

The prince refused to ever leave her side

There to wipe away tears when she cried

Experienced, knew what betrayal felt like

For he had gone through something alike

Very slowly the fire began to melt the ice

The Princess began to heed his advice

She took time but slowly began trusting

The Frost and Glow kings stopped fighting

One day when he left to go on a long trip

Began to realize her feelings and ponder

It was lonely for her palm without his grip

Of his presence in life she had grown fonder

She went to her father and revealed this

Her father was actually happy and in bliss

Marriage could make the bond stronger

The kingdoms will no be more at a danger

News travelled to the fire's Palace of Sun

The King then discussed this with his son

To hear this Prince was more than happy

He had gotten the person he loved to marry

The marriage planned and held beautifully

At a hall constructed near the border newly

That day, the Glow and the Frost had reunited

To have a peace future, everyone was excited

The poem ends here, but not their love

Surpassed all kinds of trials and rose above

Prince became the King and she the Queen

For living a new era the people were keen
