Word: Tranquil
I felt the coldness of your skin when I held you
Your body so lifeless, it was bleeding profusely
Your breathing unstable and slowly decreasing
Your eyes seemed far far away, opening barely
The excitement, brightness you always carried
They were long gone, replaced by cloudiness
Just one step away from knocking death's door
You smiled, then left for the tranquil darkness
