It was another day of work but right now I shouldn't worry since I'm almost done with my work so I can leave soon

Mirae had already finished her work so she's just submitting things she needs to then she'll wait for me downstairs

I didn't want her to wait for me too long so I tried to finish my work, hoping that I could be done within a few minutes

After what I assume was a few minutes I finally shut my laptop and placed it inside my bag

Finally! Done!

I packed up my other things as well before I walked out of my cubicle and headed my way to the elevator

As I walked I fixed my hair, and thought to myself, 'do I look bad right now?' because even though I didn't move much staring and typing on my laptop made me feel drained out

Who knew my dark circles could get worse...

Entering the elevator and pressing the button before the doors open once again

I walked out and from afar I saw Mirae sitting on the couch crossed-legged while using her phone

I chuckled to myself before I walked faster almost skipping, toward her

Somehow she had probably felt it since she looked up and saw me, she stood up when she recognized it was me

"Finally!~ You're done"

"Did you wait that long?"

"Nope but I'm tired, let's go!" she linked her arms with mine

We both laughed and talked as we walked out of the company together

It was getting late since the sun had already started to set but it wasn't completely dark so we were fine

As we were going to walk further we heard someone calling for me which made us turn around it was a man who stood next to Mrs.Sim

When we looked at her she smiled and motioned us to her, so we looked at each other confused before walking towards her

"Hello Y/n and Mirae," she said when we were closer enough to her

We greeted her too, but we were both still perplexed about why she had called us, well me

"I know this is sudden, but if you don't mind I'd like to speak with you Y/n, is it alright?" she looked at me

I looked at Mirae before looking at Mrs.Sim again, "sure!"

"Is it alright with your friend if I borrow you?"

"O-Oh! of course, Mrs.Sim, we're done with work anyways, and Y/n is fine with it too," 

Mirae unlinked her arms with mine and I looked at her with a thankful smile, "you can go home ahead, I'll follow"

Mirae agreed and bid goodbye to Mrs.Sim and I before walking away on her own

I looked back at Mrs.Sim who thanked me, "I'm glad you're okay with it, you don't have to worry by the way! This isn't work-related," she chuckled

Well of course It wasn't, it obviously had something to do with CEO Sim and our fake relationship

I was waiting for her to say something before she told me to get in the car with her, I only thought that she wanted to talk about something private so I did
