I woke up with a terrible headache, it felt like someone was repeatedly hitting my head with a hammer

I finally opened my eyes and looked around, I was in my room and not feeling well

Beside me, I noticed the empty soju bottles and finally remembered that I had been drinking last night, as it was all slowly coming back to me it felt like my condition had worsened

I slowly grabbed my phone that was next to all the empty bottles and looked at the time

I was supposed to go to work today but in this condition? I didn't feel like it... So I quickly dialed Daewan's number

"CEO Sim?"

"Good morning Daewan... I will not be going to the office today..."

"Is there something wrong CEO Sim?" he asked and I hummed, not wanting to get into further detail, "oh but CEO Sim, you have plenty of things to-"

"I'll do it here at home, just send everything to me," I sighed 

"Yes CEO Sim," after that I hung up the call

I placed my phone on my lap and yawned and massaged my head

I furrowed my brows and lazily got off the bed

I freshened up a little, washed my face, combed my hair

Since I was just going to stay at home I didn't bother changing anymore, I didn't want to go out either

After that, I walked to the kitchen and got myself a glass of water, and brought my laptop with me to the kitchen counter

I decided I'd do my work here

I checked my emails to see if Daewan had already sent the files, I clicked on every one of them and lots of tabs appeared

It was noted that I had to read everything and approve of it, while some were files I just needed to read for upcoming meetings

I blankly stared at them, not interested in them as I recalled last night's events...

"Jake I—Jake I..."

"You know this guy?"

Jay looked at me, "I'm sorry you had to find out this way," he mumbled to me

Sooyeon finally got off the guy's arms and I guess the other people in the room were her friends

She walked up to me and pleaded, "Jake I'm sorry I-"

I looked at her with disbelief, "we broke up huh?"

She tried holding my wrist but I pushed her away

"Yeah, we did, today. Fuck off Sooyeon, you're a bitch"

"Jake!!!"

I closed my eyes not liking that memory one bit, I felt my eyes tearing up again but I shrugged off those thoughts away by taking a gulp of water
