I stopped eating and gazed at my mom and smiled a little. "Because of food? I think.."
Nanatili ang tingin niya sakin bago tumango at nagpatuloy. Napabuntong hininga nalang ako bago punasan ang bibig at magpaalam. Before I leave our dining hall, I saw my father glancing at me. Kanina ko pa siya nakikitang tumitingin pero hindi ko pinagtutuunan ng pansin.
Lumakad ako at lumabas sa garden. I saw some men there in black so I immediately looked for him. Nakita ko siya sa bandang gilid ng gate, he's looking at me..
Pasimple akong ngumiti sa kaniya. He just stood there, serious and cold while watching me.
Bigla akong may naisip. Bumalik muli ako sa loob at dumiretso kila Dad na papaakyat na sana.
"Dad! Wait!"
They stopped walking. Humarap sila sa'kin at ng makarating sa harap nila ay ngumiti ako.
"Can I go out? I just want to buy stuffs, Medyo matagal na rin kasi nung lumabas ako.." pagpapaalam ko.
Nanliit ang mga mata ni Dad sa'kin, he was about to speak when I raised my hand. "I'll just bring bodyguards with me, please let me.."
Tingin ko ay hindi niya talaga ko paapyagan ng ngumiti si Mom sa'kin at tumango. "Go ahead anak, mag-ingat ka."
Napaharap sa kaniya si Dad. "No, it's dangerous outside.."
My mother shook her head. "Let her.. tsaka bakit ba kinukulong mo ang anak mo rito? Let her have fun like what she used to."
My father sighed, surrendering. "Okay okay.. just for now. Pag-iisipan ko yan."
Agad akong umalis ng may ngiti sa labi. Lumabas ako at dali-daling lumapit kay Lucian na mukhang nagulat sa paglapit ko.
"Tara, I need a bodyguard. Aalis ako," I told him.
Hindi niya pa naibubuka ang bibig ng biglang may lumapit na lalaking may kaparehas na suot katulad niya.
"Ma'am Monic, may naka-assigned na bodyguards para samahan ka." He said. He's glancing at me, no my body.
My forehead creased, I raised my brow and looked at him, head to toe. "Don't call me Monic." I said with bitterness. "And I don't care if there's a bodyguards assigned for me. I want him, only him to go with me. Ayoko ng maraming alalay, I'm not comfortable."
"B-But si Sir po ang may sab—"
"Then sabihin mo rin sa kaniya. You're wasting my time, lets go.." Saad ko at sinenyasan si Lucian.
Narinig ko ang paglakad niya sa likod ko. Bigla akong napahinto ng marinig ko ang boses niya.
"Look at her with that disgusting eyes of yours, expect not to see again.." he said in his cold and serious tone.
Nanlaki ang mata ko dahil sa ikinilos niya. Baka mahalata siya ng tauhan ni Dad!
"L-Lets go," I stuttered. Iniisip pa rin ang sinabi niya kanina. Nakita ko ang lalaki kaninang parang nabato sa kinatatayuan. I cleared my throat and gazed at him. "Yeah, I noticed your stares at me. Pack your things, I will surely tell my father about your behavior." Pagdagdag ko.
Pasimple ko ng hinila si Lucian papasok sa loob. Pinisil ko ng kaunti ang braso nito. "Ba't mo 'yon ginawa? They would suspect you!" Mariin kong bulong rito.
Patuloy kaming umakyat sa kwarto dahil magbibihis pa 'ko. I saw him clenching his jaw with his still dark eyes.
"I wouldn't let him look at you like that. Dudukutin ko talaga ang mata niya kung nagkataon." He said seriously.
I sighed and smiled a little. "Thank you.. hayaan mo na, wait me, I'll just change my clothes."
He nodded. Nakarating kami sa kwarto, he sat on my bet while I walk towards my walk in closet. Nakapili ako ng deep ocean blue na dress, it's above my knee.
Nag-liptint lang ako at powder bago suklayin ang nakalugay na buhok. I smiled when I saw myself on the mirror.
Lumabas ako at napatigil ng makita si Lucian na nakadapa sa kama. He's hugging ny pillow and sniffing it.
My forehead creased. "What are you doing?"
He turned his head to me. He smiled cutely and sniff my pillow again. "I love the scent of this, kaamoy mo.."
I chuckled. "Hug and sniff me instead if you want my smell.."
I saw how his lips curve into smile. Napailing-iling ito. "I'll definitely do that.."
Tumayo na ito at pinagbuksan ako ng pinto. Paglabas namin ay lumikod siya sa'kin, tama lang ang distansya.
We got out and he straightly walk towards my car. Pinagbuksan niya ko ng passenger seat, I let myself in and thank him. Agad din itong pumasok sa loob at binuksan ang makina.
We went to the mall. While we're walking, I felt his hand slid in my hand. Napatingala ako sa kaniya, I saw his serious expression.
I bit my lip and worriedly looked at him. "Baka may makakita?"
He glanced at me, he shook his head and gently caressed my hand. "Don't worry 'bout that.."
We go to some boutiques. Nakapili ako ng mga damit pero mas marami pa yata ang napili niya kaysa sa'kin.
Napataas ang kilay ko ng makitang may dala-dala nanaman itong itim na dress at may ngiti sa labi. "Babe look, it think it looks good on you."
"It is. Sige I'll take it but that's the last one okay? Ang dami na.."
He agreed, lumipat na kami sa ibang section ng mga damit. Habang namimili ay napansin ko na lamang na bigla siyang nawala sa tabi ko. I shrugged my shoulders, siguro may kinukuha nanaman.
I was in the middle of my business when I felt him gently turned me. Lumapat ang mga mata ko sa kaniya kasunod sa hawak-hawak nitong maliit na damit.
I stopped, bigla akong napatigil at naoatitig sa hawak-hawak nito.
"Babe what do you think about this? We don't know the gender so I picked this white cute little shirt for our child.." he said with a smile while showing me the little shirt he's holding.
I don't know what got me but my eyes became blurry. I looked at the little shirt back to the man who's smiling genuinely at me.
"It's cute righ—babe? What happened? Something wrong?"
Maagap niya kong nilapitan at kinabig sa baywang. He looked at me worriedly. "You don't like this? Sige, hanap tayo ng iba. Don't cry hmm?"
Nanginig ang labi ko ng umiling sa kaniya. I smiled and took the baby's cloth from him. "I-It's cute, we'll take it."
I just realized that, my baby and I are lucky to have these men. I am sure that they'll be a good father to him.
"Then why are you crying? Tell me babe.." hinarap niya 'ko sa kaniya. He caressed my cheeks to look at him in the eyes.
Ngumiti muli ako at umiling. "Wala nga, I'm just happy that I'm not the only one who's excited to finally meet my child.."
Lumambot ang mga mata nito. "Of course we are too! Anak natin hmm? Natin.."
Kinuha niya ang ilang damit na dala ko. He then hold my hand. "Bayaran na natin, may pupuntahan pa tayo."
"Where?" I asked curiously.
"We'll go to the OB for you to have a check. I should make sure that you both are healthy and fine.."
