WITH LOVE, ANNIE

A bond so subtle
With petty bickerings and fights
Two young girls in a bus
At the age of 5

Awkward accidents and weird collisions
Got them joined at the hip
In a new world of friendship
They made a good start

3 years of togetherness, but kindred souls for life
Never let the other be their kryptonite
Wrote letters in the day of phones and texts
Like old ladies in the petticoat times

No photos no recordings, no meetings whenever they liked
But stayed platonic soulmates with a capital P
Distance never did and would never break them apart
Even if the world couldn't see.

A/N: I wrote this one for my bff's 18th birthday. We lived in different states for most of our childhood, but it only made us stronger.
